i agree w/ women having to take some responsibility in that SOME of them know the man is taken.. and that almost makes them want him more.. WHAT IS WRONG w/ us?????????

dara i wanted to ask did u have regrets but didn't know if u wanted to talk about that here..its ok my girl.. i really don't think u have reached the point of no return in ur situation.. maybe that is why things happened the way they did w/ roc.. i always say, God pls move whatever i DONT need out of my way.. cuz Lord knows i won't have the strength to do it..

i know how u feel truss me.. altho i am glad i don't have to deal w/ the phockery.. i wonder if he could have changed like kirk cameron w/ a lil more persistance on my part..

pray girl for direction .. whatever is to be, will be..

Umm I won’t go into to much details I think this forum is way more public then our e-mails so if you want specific details we can talk on the side but I will say I am thinking.... Right now I am going to take a minute and just relax. It might be the whole Roc thing throwing me for a loop like Big momma on her e-mail chain said I just need to take some time for me to figure out what I want and stop jumping from one relationship to the next (even though it has only been between the too.) I will say this I am more open minded to my faults. I blamed the destruction of our marriage on solely him and now I think my eyes are open to see no Dada it was yours too. I think I was trying to hard to be his momma instead of his mate. And I have to be more open minded it was always my way or no way.

I popped up at his sister’s house on Saturday. She was having a cookout and the family was so surprised to see me and happy at the dame time. I only came because Nellie begged me too. And when she looks over the top of her glasses she pulls me in every time with the please mommy. So I went but I didn’t stay long but while I was there it was cool.

Hey Ladies,

I agree with Quanna you have a responsibility to your marriage to keep things spicy and new. However this will not always dictate whether your mate will cheat or not! The most freakiest and fabulous women have been cheated on just because! It depends on the mate, Big Boi had a topic in his radio show this morning are some people just born cheaters. There was an overwhelming response to the topic and I thought alot about it and I think it has to do with the situations people go through and the relationship and circumstances. Some people just do it cause they can, opportunity presents itself and of course they pounce on it (no pun intended) some men just can't be content with one woman! That's why relationships these days are so hard especially the LDR's cause its always in the back of your mind, what happening when I am not there! Most importantly get to know your mate and don't rush into any relationship and especially marriage without putting in the proper time! I say just always follow your instincts, if you suspect he is cheating he most likely is!

My co-worker and I discussed this topic at lunch and women are just as guilty too and I think they are part of the problem as well. So many women know men have woman or wives but yet they entertain and sleep with them anyway. I think if woman were to start closing there legs and not allowing it then cheating might not be on the rise. Someone once said that the reason why men cheat is because woman allow them too and its true. Now if the man hid it from you or you didn’t know well then that’s different but when you ask him does he have a woman or a wife and he says yes and you continue to give him your number or go out on dates well then to me you are just as guilty. I remember back in the day men used to lie about being in a relationship for fear the woman wouldn’t mess with them but nowadays I notice more and more men are honest and say yes because they know that isn’t going to stop you.

Big Boi has a show?? Dang who doesn’t??

Dada you bring up very valid points, there are Women out here that thrive on cheating with Men they KNOW are in relationships and in fact they prey on them. You are right on another point some Men just don't care because they will be straight up, I have a woman but we can be friends and keep it on the DL!

Yes girl Big Boi has a show, he is hilarious

with his Luther Lufeigh Phone Taps they are all over You tube!

So how was everyone's weekend?? Looks like some of you had a pretty good one!

I finally proved myself Saturday morning after getting to sleep in a little (YAY!) by making us omelets for breakfast. He was asking why I wasn't making him two & halfway through his he couldn't even finish. HA HA! Then we took the scenic route to the waterfront that goes along the coast of SF until you reach the Golden Gate bridge. We drove under the bridge, through the throngs of tourists & on to the Fishermen's Wharf area where we were BLESSED with a parking spot after minimal driving around & didn't have to pay $20-30 for the day! Thank you God! We went to Pier 39 & he saw Sea Lions for the first time, got his butt kicked by me in air hockey at the arcade, saw a WWII submarine & ship at one of the docks, played mechanical games from the early 1900's at the Musee Mechanique including his first pinball game (not early 1900s) & 'mini' bowling game where he got two strikes (guess we'll have to try the real thing now). Then we had a nice dinner at a seafood restaurant on Fishermen's Wharf where he had his first clam chowder (which he doesn't think is as good as conch soup of course) & ate the insides of the sourdough 'table' bread & left me the crusts (thanks a lot buddy!). From there we walked to one of two spots they'd be firing off the fireworks & found a place to put our chairs & wait for a couple hours till the show started. There was a live band playing retro tunes & when the show started it was a DJ medley of American tunes with the Star Spangled Banner for the finale. This of course was also his first time seeing fireworks (other than on TV) & it was cool that they had dual shows & you could look down to the other location closer to Pier 39 & see the same thing happening. It was cold when the fog was blowing in & we weren't sure we were gonna make it (next time bringing more layers & a blanket) but once it settled it got a little warmer to where you could bear it. I don't think my poor honey has ever had such cold limbs in his life. It was a good show though & he was so happy that he saw it & was thanking God & me for the whole day! :luv:

Yesterday we lounged some more, I made breakfast again (no omelet this morning) & then got ready to go to the zoo since I've been promising & we've been watching a lot of animal shows on TV. I'm a big old dork & I think he gets embarrassed when I gush over a baby giraffe or something until he saw that other women there were doing it too. We also saw a baby gorilla in the exhibit & that was pretty special. They'd move around their enclosure & when it was time to go to another spot the momma would grab the baby by one arm & swing it around until it grasped onto her back. It was VERY cute! We also saw baby monkeys & tiny monkeys & kangaroos & grizzly bears & polar bears & rhinos & anteaters & everything else. I wasn't sure we'd have enough time to see everything but after walking around all day the day before & 3 hours at the zoo, we'd seen everything there was to see & we were beat! Of course, then we went to the park where he saw some people playing a soccer game & still had energy to play with them for a half hour. Came home, made dinner & reflected on a fun weekend.

Now I'm at work & don't want to be....but at least I'm taking a furlough day tomorrow & some friends are coming in to town so we can hang out tomorrow before they go see the Giants game.

:rofl::rofl: What can I say? I like details! :yes::lol:

You go, girl. Sometimes it's nice to relive the fun in all the details. I speak with pictures usually.

Ells, you ever watch Friends? Every time I say something like "could that post BE any longer..." I think I am doing it in my best Joey or Chandler voice.

I know what a tragedy. This is what I was talking bout in my post earlier about men cheating. I feel for his wife and kids. To have your husband die this way. So do you think she really had no suspicions he was cheating? I think the papers said he was spending many nights with her but yet the wife said she had no idea. See that happens when you fool around. I think he tried to call it of with the girl and she flipped. She refused to go from riches to rags. I'm sure he promised her all types of things and then he got tired of her or maybe the wife was getting suspicious so he tried to call it off and she wasn’t with it. Did you see they had a truck in both their names?? Like #######!!!! I’m sure all her friends and family will come out of the woodwork trying to say what they knew so they can get their 10 minutes of fame.

You were saying it last week & it happened. The McNair story is pretty wild though....guess it's one of those jilted lover stories.

See, that's what I get for not taking pictures...I have to 'show' it with words instead. Pictures next time!

I can hear the Chandler voice, I can! I LOVE Friends....that & Sex in the City are my two 'guilty pleasures' shows & I'm already getting mister into the story lines of both! At first he was saying Friends was foolishness but I can tell after a couple episodes that he's already getting into it!:lol:

Yep, I'll just keep telling you all the fun stuff & not me nagging him. He's starting to get it though....when I'm doing the majority of cooking, the dishes from those meals & other stuff after working all day, he understands when I ask for something that I really need the help. He's not lazy but he's just not sure how I do things & doesn't want to mess something up. I tell him to just keep watching me until he sees how it's done & then he can start to help with those things he's unsure of. That's my fault for being nitpicky though...it's a Virgo thing.:whistle:

Ells, it's sometimes to vent about the negative too. Not good to keep it all inside and let it fester. If you don't have anyone to do that and are uncomfortable in public, find someone you can PM it too. Believe me when I say the likes of Tre and Sus are my lifelines sometimes.

But in a relationship I wonder how do you gain trust for that person. I think you’ll always have it in the back in of you mind will they do it again.

I'm with you Dada after that line has been crossed it how do you truly ever forgive and forget and move forward in your relationship?

Philly is Blockbuster like Netflix? I put my Netflix account on hold but I'm starting it back up again and I'm trying to figure out what to put in que. I really want to see some good movies. (As if no one else does.) Anyway I think Wanted arrives tonight. I'm not sure what else to pick. I tried to watch Benjamin Button last night and of course I fell asleep at the end. It really didn’t keep my attention but I was determined to finish it since I heard so much about it.

Yes it's sort of like Netfix with perks, you can trade in your online rentals for in store rentals and keep them as long as you want. They recently changed this feature and I don't really like it because previously you could exchange your online rentals for in store rentals and your next available online rentals would be mailed to you. They nixed that, I guess we can blame it on the recession. Either way you look at it if you time it right you will always have movies and that's better than Netflix! You also get 2 free coupons per moth to use on movies or games.......
