Ells, I love reading your adjustment stories! They often make me smile.

:blush::thumbs:

You know you're bored when:

You watch videos on how to apply glittery make-up on YouTube

That's the same reason mister doesn't do more. I'm 'particular' & he's afraid of messing up & me getting on his case about it. It's true, I have some minor control issues. :whistle:

6th highest poster now...

:lol: Soon you will be #1!

I guess today was "Let's respond to email day." I just got a response from the consular email address:

Good day:

We cannot schedule Mr. ***** for a visa interview without first receiving a completed DS-230 Part 1 form. You can scan and forward the completed form to this e-mail box and then we will update his case and scheduled his appointment .

I don't have a signed copy to scan. If I could go back in time, I'd have him sign this when I visited in May. :bonk: We'll scan & email on Monday, I guess... not too long to wait. But I could've done that two weeks ago had I been more on top of it.

PSA time:

ATTENTION current FILERS!!!!! If you are going through the process now, fill out the DS-230 pt 1 and have the Jamaican sign it next time you see him/her! Scan it so you have an electronic copy. That way, when it's time, you can send in the scanned copy with the signature & save a trip to Kingston.

I think this is what Jawi did right? I wonder how many people even know you can email it to them these days.

Ells - you have to remember it's not only you anymore. I know how your mister feels. Whenever, I went to Jamaica he complained that I would move stuff in his room and not put it back. I knew I had a basket case on my hands..lol. What he want is simple and it usually stuff I should be doing anyways. Like now, I don't leave any shoes downstairs. He does..but I don't just to prove that I put stuff back where they belong... :yes: He just tells me what I'm doing that upsets him, we hug..and I proclaim I'll do better.. :rofl:

I think you intentionally ignored my posts for whatever reason...but Lawny, Roxcie and I all tried to tell you that you needed a signed copy of the DS-230, Part 1. I'm not trying to say I told you so...well not really. But, I wanted to help you get that interview too...and it seemed that nothing I said made any difference to you. It really hurt my feelings at first...but then I let it go and said that is "her journey" Jawi. LOL

The good thing is that you will get the interview sooner or later. The hardest part is over now.

I remember it every night when I have to shove his elbow off of MY pillow! :rofl: It's definitely not just me anymore. I know he'll get it eventually but in the meantime, I just nag him a little too much. This morning I said, "honey, put the Milo back where you got it!" in a nagging, half-irritated voice and then walked out the door to leave for work & said "have a good day, I love you!" :lol:

Quana - Same here with the closet. I think some people like to be organized. But you know, I must admit opposites attract for some reason. I'm not the neatest person..but I hate a nasty place.
