so do ya'll think, once a cheater, always a cheater??

personally, i don't.. i think u grow up or u have a higher standard for ur relationships or just plain tired of yo MESS lol..

either way .. i do think ppl can become one woman or one man ppl after cheating..

I think it depends on the person. Some get caught up in a bad relationship and follow an urge to cheat. Others are habitual and won't change.

Life's just a crazy ride on a run away train

You can't go back for what you've missed

So make it count, hold on tight find a way to make it right

You only get one trip

So make it good, make it last 'cause it all flies by so fast

You only get one trip

Morning/Afternoon Yardies!

damn philly you have some wild stories

so sorry to hear about your home situation. i agree that maybe you guys should try family counselling

ells i like how you and mr l are adjusting, very sweet

lmao @ the camel toe ad, hillarity (i know its not a real word)

lmao @ finesse hubby. but him nuh easy!

Congrats Bunz on mister's arrival! We don't have to tell you to enjoy yourselves!:dance::whistle:

yeaaa Bunz!!

ells..yuh good..read all dat..den replied...mi out a breath just thinking about it. thanks..granny still waiting..surgery rescheduled again...

Prayers for Granny to get some proper medical care ASAP! (F)

:rofl: That whole web site cracks me up! It is so true & some of it definitely applies to me. This killed me:

"But be warned that a white person saying they like “reggae” what they really mean is “reggae from 1965-1983.”

Under no circumstances should you ever bring a white person to a dancehall reggae concert, it will frighten them."

Morning all! I so do not want to be back at work today :(

My alarm went off at 6:30 & I hit snooze until almost 7:00....didn't get into the shower until a bit after that & was only 5 minutes late to work since the bus was running pretty smoothly this morning. I wonder if it would be any easier if I didn't have to come in until 9:00 instead of 8:00....probably not!:no::sleepy:

Sus I had to BOAL @ the 'DJ knocked the strainer' comment! I've had my IUD (sorry if that's TMI) for two months now and the cramping can be pretty rough. I hope my body adjusts after 6 months like my doctor suggested it might. It's still worth not having to remember the pill though.

Ells, I can honestly tell you that my cramping with the IUD was worse than what I ever had without - you eventually adjust to it - it was a small price to pay for the other conveniences. Just be very sure that you get it checked regularly to make sure it's in the right place, lol

Same here....I've never had DAYS & DAYS of cramps like with this & the 'flow' is way heavier (sorry if TMI but just an FYI for anyone considering it) but I also feel it's worth not having to remember a pill or anything else & no hormones in my system. I'll make sure I get checked regularly to make sure my strainer doesn't get knocked!

its sooo funny.. the kids have been back since Wednesday and it is def DIFFERENT.. (like i had been warning him lol)

after i had finally sat down thursday i told him i missed him and he said i miss u too baby.. just in one day we saw the DRASTIC change in time together, i get tired alot quicker, i guess cuz i am not lounging around, i am always up and doing something or thinking about what i have to do next... and that is just w/ ONE child cuz the other had spent the night at a friends LOL

my kids are quiet more or less so i didn't expect much conversation between them and roger, the youngest didn't talk to him much and when he talked to her she would act all shy or just shake her head, she would go in her room and close the door at times. it was just wierd having to deal w/ roger by herself. the girls are usually always together.. she wouldn't eat the caribbean food as we expected, taylor liked EVERYTHING tho and they both LOVE his chicken, brown stew and curry is their fav..

we played chutes and ladders w/ the kids and then went bowling friday w/ my sister and her hubby.. roger was FANTASTIC!!! he got like 4 strikes and when he didn't get a strike he still ended up knocking all the pins down after the first try.. he fell in love w/ bowling that night LOL

sat was the cookout at my moms.. we played the outdoor games and then family feud (party favorite) we came home and roger, the kids and i went outside our apt to watch fireworks.. they were doing them at the park RIGHT across the st from us so we just took a blanket and enjoyed...

roger had cooked after the kids and i went to church (still praying 4 him to come lol) and after i lounge around w/ the kids.. roger and i went back to the lake and hung out.. he took a video of me turning flips.. can u say HOT MESS!!! lol

as the weekend went on.. i prompted the kids to ask roger stuff instead of me.. like my oldest asked what kind of chicken were we eating, i told her ask roger, he made it.. she was like.. thats ok LOL..they are just shy not rude so its ok.. he is always trying to joke w/ them to make them feel more comfy and i think he is wearing on them ..sunday was real nice..

Aawwww....that sounds sweet Quana! :luv:

i met roger on july 15th YAYYYY.. okay i digress.. i am not good w/ present ideas my2.. i usually just give gift cards or visa debit cards... i know SOO sorry LOL

DITTO! I wish I was a better gift-giver.

Ok...just cussed out another friend. This one is my co-worker who has a boyfriend in JA. She is leaving today for Africa for over a month and assumed I was going to take her boyfriend a package. Told her last night that I couldn't because of the new weight requirements (not taking AirJ this time) and I have to take things for Damien's family plus I am donating items to an orphanage. She said okay. I just got back from a meeting and what's sitting in my chair...a huge bag full of men clothes and shoes :o Just called and told her to better take this sh!t.....what is wrong with people???

Vent is over.

Tell her you'll do it if she gives you money for the extra bag fee ($125 or something like that) PLUS what customs will charge for bringing stuff in, PLUS extra for your time & effort to pack, haul & make the delivery! :bonk::bonk::yes:

Funny you mention this when I was watching Fireproof I forget how the phrase went but it was something about listen more and talk less. I think that is my problem as I'm sure you ladies can tell I talk way more than I listen. I think because when something is on my mind I'm so quick to go off to get my point across and when the person is talking back to me I'm so busy thinking of the next thing I'm going to say I'm not concentrating on what my mate has said. My husband used to always tell me "Would you let me talk" my reply back was well if you weren’t' so darn slow with talking maybe I would... Mean I know but that was me. I don’t know after seeing the movie I just for some reason am now seeing marriage being more serious than what I thought.

u know this is one of my fav movies dada.. i think i learned that i should honor the vows i made not just the man i married.. when things started going wrong.. and didn't seem to get better.. maybe i should have tried to initiate some change even tho i didn't feel i was getting anything in return, i did make a vow to love him..

the pastor sunday said.. too many ppl are looking to be in love instead of just loving the one they married.. i don't know how i feel about that comment, i know i am guilty.. i didn't think it should be a CHORE to stay w/ ur spouse, but sometimes maybe it is but its what u promised to do?????

maybe if we would have talked about our feelings more.. sought out counseling..instead i was fed up w/ him and threw my vow out the door.. i might have still decided to divorce even after all the attempts to restore.. but u never know.. believe me no second thoughts here, just throwing thoughts out there LOL.

Umm I must admit its making me have second thoughts (sigh)... I dont know the movie just showed me some things I may have did wrong. Here I thought it was all him him him but now I see maybe it was some of me too. This mess is a true mess.

yeah dada.. i am proud of him..

he really likes them and is laughing at them all the time.. steph is a performer and she have been doing all the MJ video routines all weekend.. he have seen the dramatic side too.. one time steph was just CRYING in her room and i ignored her.. she is DRAMA ya'll.. she does alot of stuff for attenton.. she hates when all eyes are not on her.. so i know when something is really wrong w/ her by now.. so anyway.. roger and i were looking at tv and he looked at me.. "steph is crying" i said. "i know."LOL .. after we go back and forth about it, he pushes me up to go check on her LOL...

she couldn't find her bubble gum....

R u serious?? See times like that if she would have found it I would have made her chew a piece and then stick it on her nose for all the drama..lol

Quana the anniversary of the day you met Roger coming smiley-dance017.gif

Ya'll sound so great together :luv:

Nat, you have to remember the Fireproof Movie was low budget and produced by the church... can't expect Spielberg quality...

Once I got into the story I was IN... Lawd, I bawled when he went to apologize to his Mom in the end

**** Warning Fireproof spoiler Don't read any further if you haven't seen the movie yet**** I bawled when she found out who really bought the chair and bed. Boy did I lose it. Oh and I loved when he confronted the doctor.. I was cheering him on the whole time.

No problem mon. Just sit the items in her chair with a note that states " Oops I forgot this"! I let them sit there and collect dust for a whole month until she returns.

LMAO Shem I can relate - I had a friend that asked me if I could take something to her family - I told her I had no room for anything major, and the weight issues - Something small or pics, no problem - Came into work and had a damn deep fryer sitting in my office!

Sorry Sus but this has me RRRROOOOLLLLLLLLLLIIIIINNNNGGGGGG!!!!!!:rofl:

 She did not want to hear NO for an answer. I told her 1000 times the orphanage was my main concern...she even

donated some toys. So why would I take things for her??????

I took stuff for her a few years ago and it took half of my suitcase...never again. He wears size 13 shoe

Size 13 shoe??? Hmmm maybe i should take the items down for her... No let me stop I'm joking....

Hey Ladies,

I agree with Quanna you have a responsibility to your marriage to keep things spicy and new. However this will not always dictate whether your mate will cheat or not! The most freakiest and fabulous women have been cheated on just because! It depends on the mate, Big Boi had a topic in his radio show this morning are some people just born cheaters. There was an overwhelming response to the topic and I thought alot about it and I think it has to do with the situations people go through and the relationship and circumstances. Some people just do it cause they can, opportunity presents itself and of course they pounce on it (no pun intended) some men just can't be content with one woman! That's why relationships these days are so hard especially the LDR's cause its always in the back of your mind, what happening when I am not there! Most importantly get to know your mate and don't rush into any relationship and especially marriage without putting in the proper time! I say just always follow your instincts, if you suspect he is cheating he most likely is!

My co-worker and I discussed this topic at lunch and women are just as guilty too and I think they are part of the problem as well. So many women know men have woman or wives but yet they entertain and sleep with them anyway. I think if woman were to start closing there legs and not allowing it then cheating might not be on the rise. Someone once said that the reason why men cheat is because woman allow them too and its true. Now if the man hid it from you or you didn’t know well then that’s different but when you ask him does he have a woman or a wife and he says yes and you continue to give him your number or go out on dates well then to me you are just as guilty. I remember back in the day men used to lie about being in a relationship for fear the woman wouldn’t mess with them but nowadays I notice more and more men are honest and say yes because they know that isn’t going to stop you.

Big Boi has a show?? Dang who doesn’t??

Philly is Blockbuster like Netflix? I put my Netflix account on hold but I'm starting it back up again and I'm trying to figure out what to put in que. I really want to see some good movies. (As if no one else does.) Anyway I think Wanted arrives tonight. I'm not sure what else to pick. I tried to watch Benjamin Button last night and of course I fell asleep at the end. It really didn’t keep my attention but I was determined to finish it since I heard so much about it.

i agree w/ women having to take some responsibility in that SOME of them know the man is taken.. and that almost makes them want him more.. WHAT IS WRONG w/ us?????????

dara i wanted to ask did u have regrets but didn't know if u wanted to talk about that here..its ok my girl.. i really don't think u have reached the point of no return in ur situation.. maybe that is why things happened the way they did w/ roc.. i always say, God pls move whatever i DONT need out of my way.. cuz Lord knows i won't have the strength to do it..

i know how u feel truss me.. altho i am glad i don't have to deal w/ the phockery.. i wonder if he could have changed like kirk cameron w/ a lil more persistance on my part..

pray girl for direction .. whatever is to be, will be..
