kk - i think it is more about athe quality of the resume not the quantity you put out. i have always tailored my resume for the job applied for. if you are sending out the same standard resume for 10 different types of jobs, then you hubby resume is not going to stand out. take the time to customize the resume for each job applied for...

Me too KK I am the same I have 5 different resumes with focus on that specific skill type

is it hard for an accountant to find a job in the us? a good paying job? considering the recession and all

but i've explained to hubby that anywhere the job is i am going and he's ok with moving

I agree Bunz it nuh easy just because you have a degree there are so many educated unemployed people in the US today. It all depends on location, I watch the recession special on GMA each week and they focus on geographic locations in the US that are recession proof and others that will be hard to recover because of the # of unemployed population within that particular city. So research is key and migrating where there is more employment is the best bet!

wow. i wonder what would compel someone to be honest about one kids existence, but deny the others? Especially since he obviously cares for all of them? Maybe got caught up in a lie and as we all know.. lies are like snowballs.. they grow and GROW and GROW!

Mister & I are pondering that very question in regards to his own father. He has two other kids in JA who he has kept in contact with but the two of them just reunited after 24+ years since his father hadn't seen him since he was a little guy. His mom thinks it might be because she was the poor baby mama. I just have no idea what the reason is.

No big plans other than to finally finish putting the closet back together so both of our stuff is organized and can fit back in there. Tonight we might go dance to some reggae/dancehall/hip hop at a club since we can get in free....my only reservation is the tiny $8 drinks that they gouge you with. Before that, we'll go to the museum where they have a different theme every Friday & it's free. Tonight is an East African music group performing & related exhibits. Sunday we might (again) go to a free hip hop concert since my friend won a table lottery & you don't have to be crowded out by everyone after you got there early & waited for hours just to get a spot.

When I was in college I worked with several agencies this is how once I worked 3 jobs at the same time. Got one p/t job in a department store working weekends, one working weekdays telemarketing 6-9, and another working a warehouse third shift over night 11-7. Plus third shift gave a 10% differential pay increase. All while I still went to school in the day. If times get too hard I can see taking this approach again.

GEEZ! When did you sleep??? I'm always amazed when I read or hear about someone keeping a schedule like that. I don't think I could ever be that superhuman.
