ok, so remember how i was making joke about hubby being in everybody business and making friends with everybody on the block?

and remember that party we had on july 4?

well, i swear to god not one day has passed since that party that someone has not been hanging out our house.....and i mean hanging out for HOURS

i'm starting to get pissed off. even though i was the one to encourage it...

do you think i am over reacting?

and if these are random people from around the way I would be cautious, I don't trust nobody! Dang I need that suspect smiley Finesse uses!

That's another thing....how well do you know these people? You don't want trouble started or things suddenly missing from your house.

that's one of the things i told hubby

when we live together, the house is OUR sanctuary

nothing wrong with occassional visitors but the everyday heng out ting nah go work

you should probably gently nudge him. he probably just wants the company.

maybe they can switch houses, some days he hangs out at theirs

it is not so much my husband but my neighbors/friends. i feel bad turning them away especially since some of them have helped us with the yard and borrowed us stuff. i can't really get away from them since they live so close. i'll have to make my husband be the bad guy since i cannot do it...

No there is a limit to how much you can share your house. If it has been everyday...that is way to much. I need to have my space and my time without other people around, even family sometimes. So I don't think you are over reacting.

me either.. i don't like that.. but my sister's husband ALWAYS has ppl over.. for her bday company stayed over till 6am the nxt morning.. !! that would have been rude to me, WHY would anybody not excuse THEMSELVES after a certain amount of time???.. she doesn't like it much, but bends cuz she know her husband has always been like this.. he acts like he doesn't even notice 5 hrs have went by LOL

i don't know.. i just couldn't do it..

From the party on the 4th it seems he is into the party thing... you know how Jamaica is... it seem every night there is a party on one verandah or another. Maybe he does not think anything of it...

I agree if it is bothering you it needs to stop.

You know, it's up to your husband to politely ask them to leave or set limits as well. You have to have a long talk with him and both discuss your expectations in this issue.

I, for one, am much crabbier on weeknights when I have to get up for work the next morning. Was more agreeable on weekends.

don't do that...calm down den go talk to im...u know ow they can do back home. My hubby have company, but when 9pm reach im seh time fi push farwud ... so, we never had issues with that...and we don't do company during the week (family okay)...other than dat, mi too tiyad

it is actually me the one more into the party thing than him. i encouraged him to be more outgoing and invite them over. we talked about it and he just said it was me the one to tell him to do it....and now we don't know how to tell the people to get out!
