Ells Vegas sounds fabulous will you do a thee wedding?

Probably not although it would be fun. I'm just not that corny though! I'm looking at places that can hold small ceremonies/receptions outdoors. Of course, I just started looking at another place north of San Francisco that we'll drive to next Saturday to look at in person. But I might have to be flexible on the date because of other weddings scheduled there. I don't know what to do....I don't like this wedding planning stuff. I just wanna get married darn it!

LOL @ I'm just not that corny though! San Fran sounds fabulous too. No worries you will find the perfect venue for your special day!

Well Finesse,

I never made it outside to see Mrs Bootsy, me and my 16 year old just fought and I put him out! that is is I am done! My Husband had to literally drag me out of the room. He has to go! Be back, he is not moving fast enough!

This situation is NO WHERE near funny but I must say I was LOL at how you was like I'll be right back he is not moving fast enough. Philly does his dad live anywhere near you? If so I say do a drive by. Meaning throw yuh son rass in the car and just pull up in front of his dads house. Don’t get out the car or nothing. T ell yuh son to get to stepping honk the horn until his dad looks out the window like who the freak is that and then pull the heck off I mean haul azz trying to get away. Shoot you did the first 16 years its his darn turn.

I swear your son is making me so upset by disrespecting you girl we about to jump him!!!!

LOL  Dada for real wasn't moving fast enough the had to go! His Dad lives around the corner and he doesn't even speak to him on the street. PUHLEASE I have no problem doing a drive by trust me but I don't even want to waste the gas on that ungrateful offspring of mine! His that sperm donor is certifiable I swear he gets shot every week hot mess trust me! A few days even ours with him, my son will be shook and come running back but he better go to my Mom's cause these doors are closed!!!!

LOL @ watching their blue movies!

I'd LOVE to get married in SF but the only problem with this time of year is FOG! You can never predict the weather and I do not want to get married in the fog. Cold & grey....YUCK!

Nat, I wanted to tell you congrats about the black crop pants but don't remember why now (LOL!)....did you get back into them?....is that what it was?? I think so....so if that's the case, you go girl!

Also, I saw your SIL Tia on Rising Stars (we watched more TV this time) while I was there....I'm pretty sure we also saw her when I was there in February at the Bob Marley Tribute show at MXIII in Negril. She's really good!

You were there! So was I! Yes, she performed then.

Fitting those black crop pants was a fleeting thing...

RECAP part 2:

Princess, I'm already fuzzy on this too but I know you were worried about money (that makes two of us)....but I'll remind you (and myself) that we will get through and God always provides. Last week I found $5 one day & $1 another....it wasn't much but it was all the proof I needed that things will be okay.

Cat, your wedding pics AND your daughter are BEAUTIFUL! That is just the kind of gorgeous, intimate wedding in nature setting I'd like to find but can't seem to for some reason. Seeing the pictures was very inspiring though!

Also, congrats on Louis GC arriving but sorry about his job loss....better things soon come though!

Congrats Unruly on the approval!!

LAWNY!! That day you drank the Mountain Dew & Red Bull I was DWLPUMS!!! I'll remember that combo if I ever need to do a million things in one day!:rofl:

Nat, NO size limit on Kool Runnings that I was ever able to see and anyway, don't even worry about that my gyal....you'll have no problems!

Claire, I just wanted to say that you're ALWAYS welcome here and don't pay any mind to dem tryna run ya hoff!

Welcome Tee!

Finesse, I was also cracking up when you were working on your heart....you still have more to go so keep going!

How did we miss eachother at that show?? I guess we didn't know eachother (virtually) as well then. It would've been great to meet you in person.

Aww....sorry about the pants...it'll happen again....YOU CAN DO IT!

RECAP part 3:

Jawi, this is old news now but I was so glad to know the surgery went well & that you were okay & doing fine. Prayers for your continued full recovery. (F)(L)

Congrats Beautiful on the approval!!

This:

Off topic - Why, when I googled a support smilie did I find this: lovecock.gif

Made me BOABDL!!! :rofl::rofl::rofl:

And it was about that point in the thread everyone was congratulating us so I just want to say THANKS EVERYONE FOR YOUR CONGRATS (and support through this whole phase)!!

Lovesponge, thank you for sharing your adjustment stories no matter how it has all turned out. Your openness & honesty are priceless for anyone in the before or after stages of this process & very much appreciated. You never know who will be able to relate to your story.

I already said it on FB but CONGRATS Thompson2B on the approval!!

Doodle, CONGRATS on hubby's citizenship! What a great day! (I can't wait for that day!):thumbs::dance:

Oh yeah, I was AGAIN DWLTMPUMS (or however that goes) when Lawny wrote about those 'big girl' swimsuits with the ruffles lookin' like 'one ballerina to baxide'!:rofl::rofl:

Philly, I agree with DaDa. I'm frustrated about your son, too.

Ells, great recap! Thanks for posting the smilie from Sus; I didn't see it the first time around. That's a funny one.

I've been Skyping with Steven for almost 3 hours now. Has anyone heard of Lime having 3G broadband that you can plug into your computer for anywhere-internet? It's starting in Kingston. Hopefully I'll be through this Visa process before it gets to Negril.

RECAP part 4:

 @ Philly's hubby becoming the 'crazy cat guy' with trying to collect so many!

Lawny, my deepest condolences for you and her family after losing your co-worker to leukemia. It's so wonderful that you were there for her at the end like a TRUE friend! Leukemia SUCKS....I lost a friend to it too....she was the picture of health...fit, thin, healthy-living dancer & it just seems no one is immune. :crying::((F)(L)

Kimmy, so sorry to read about your Granny! I hope they stop messing around & give her some proper care. Praying for God to work a miracle for her since the medical staff there seem to be useless. (F)

This killed me though:

mek mi know wha dis mean

it mean if wi look like a bag a ediats

:rofl::rofl:

Lawny, I was so PISSED reading about the guy who murdered your cousin being able to just fly right out of the country & still not anywhere near to being prosecuted! Justice will prevail even if it's not when or where any of your family can be witness to it.

DaDa, I was thinking like some of the others about Roc....are you sure SURE that nothing drastic happened to him?? I kept reading and it sounds like you knew he was still going to work but you still gotta wonder. If that's how he left things, better for you!

And since you love the island men, I have several you could choose from when you're ready! I'm still trying to find a nice lady for my friend who used to be on the national JA cricket team! *wink wink*:lol:

Bunz, when you all were discussing why our water was so dark, I had to look this up one day too cause I just kept wondering. It is because our water is colder and because of that more microorganisms are able to live and grow in it. Because the water is warm in tropical places, it is cleaner since not as many micro critters can thrive in those waters. I love Google! It makes me smart!:yes:

RECAP part 5:

Sus I had to BOAL @ the 'DJ knocked the strainer' comment! I've had my IUD (sorry if that's TMI) for two months now and the cramping can be pretty rough. I hope my body adjusts after 6 months like my doctor suggested it might. It's still worth not having to remember the pill though.

Lawny, you are hilarious! I still get a mental picture of you wrapped around your Dad's leg at the airport!

Quana , when you said you finally feel like you have a real Jamaican man because Roger is speaking patwah to you I cracked up!

Wakey: Regarding the debate about whether it's better to go fast or slow to burn fat....when I was @ Gold's for a minute last year (I was a bad member....never went), the free trainer I had for a consultation set me up and told me a slower pace was the best for the 'optimal fat burn' so tell your friend what she can do with her high-n-mighty self! There is a certain range you want to stay within if you want to do a solid fat burn. Not too slow but not too fast either.

:rofl: BWAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHA @ the ice skating stories!

And :lol::lol: @ Philly's co-worker with her Chili's salsa!

That reminded me of our now former employee (he's working at a prison now....go figure) who was a custodian and was caught on camera by one of our building tenants whose food in his personal fridge kept going missing. At first the tenant thought he was losing his mind & got wise....decided to put a mini-cam on his computer & set it to record when it picked up movement & caught the stupid ba$tard stealing food out of his mini-fridge on several occasions. The idiot custodian thought he wouldn't get caught even though he was stealing food out of a LOCKED office that very few had access to! HOW DUMB CAN YOU BE??!!? :bonk::bonk:

*I can't remember who was mentioning the movie but now I have to go rent "Bringing Down the House".

Just, I'm sorry about the interview debacle but glad you got another interview date so quickly and for so soon! YAY!!:dance:

Question for anyone but I think it was Yankee (?) that was flying standby with the babies....what is flying stand by? Is it cheaper??

Philly, my heart broke for you and hubby when I learned you lost the baby! I'm so sorry my friend and I pray that the next time everything will be a success and come in good time. :crying::cry::cry:(F)(L)

KK, I'm SO GLAD YOU DROVE TO WORK the day of that train accident in DC! Boy does God really work in mysterious ways! And Lawny, sorry about your friend! What a horrible day in DC that was. :((F)
