I miss mine too but I always think she sounds younger on the phone! Maybe we should have a count down for you. At least you know when T is coming back. My Aunt is driving my daughter back and their plans keep changing. Make up your mind already!

Oh If I had a countdown I may loose my mind!! :-) You know I really dont like those darn signs on the highway that say 10miles .... 8 miles... 5 miles... they drive me nuts! I don't own a watch cause I dont like to know what time it is... I am NUTS!!

how do you get places on time then?

I am always early! But I dont really have to "be" anywhere... I set my alarm to get up and walk into the next room and start working.

Speaking of mean kids.... One thing I have really tried to instill in Tierra is being kind and nice and thoughtful. I don't want her to be bullied but I darn sure dont want her to be the bully!

This past school year I had to contact the school because a little "girl" on the bus called her an a#$hole! I couldn't beleive it... 7 years old!! Said no one really liked Tierra, they just like her stuff... which I find amusing becuase we are one of the least "well off" families in this town... So I handled that one... the girl apologized

Then... this past Sunday I get home and see 7 messages on my answering machine. I look at the caller ID and see it was Tierra's little "friend" next door so I didnt listen to the messages cause she is always going on in jibberish... Then the phone rings. The girl is calling again and doesnt say anything, hangs up and does this again. I try to call back, no answer... call the house phone they wont let me speak to the mom. So I decide to listen to the messages... they (the little girl and a friend) are leaving messages calling Tierra a "2-faced loser", B$#%@, say they are going to beat her up etc... I was LIVID... took Louis and went to this womans house and she was outside on her cell, smoking cigarettes and obviously ignoring her children.... OH I JUST COULD NOT BELEIVE A 6 YEAR OLD WAS DOING THIS!!! I mean do we all teach our kids to be nice... or at least try!!?? I understand kids can be mean and argue with each other ... but this ####### came from a 6 year old little girl!!!

Needless to say this child is no longer a friend of Tierras! UGH.... I still get upset over it. The mom made her come over and apologize.

man..ive seen some mean girls, but cussing at 6!! and bold enough to leave a vm??? WOW

She wasnt too smart though... saying "hi this is viola and mickey" LOL... left their names for evidence (as if caller id wasnt good enough" hahaha

my parents best friends own a condo in ocho rios and have been going there for 25 years. i went there for the first time with them bout 5 years ago and met the greatest man that walked the face of the earth who i now call my husband (among other things)...

I have one stalker on FB and I KNOW who it is and what she was doing with the information. This person actually lives very close to me. I should say HAD cause I locked it down tight.

I have one person who can only be getting information from here. I know who she is as well and what her agenda is too. She has been a pain in my butt for years now. She enjoys being just that.

Neither one I have called out nor really said much about. So, looking back is a waste of time.

OMG Irie Cat this is really sad! the 6 years order with the Phockery I can just see the the Mother as you described her smoking and running her mouth and her kids are doing God knows what!

the last time i went quana i about killed myself. my daughter got scared and wanted to turn back around so we started back down and that is when i slipped and feel down a waterfall into a pool. I didn't know what end was up so it took me a minute to get up. My daughter was screaming and crying and the lifeguard had to come to our rescue. I am sure it is on youtube somewhere.

The lifeguard said to never attempt to turn around and go back down. Guess that was our first mistake. LOL I thought I was dead for sure. And I smashed my heel on a rock when I feel and for the rest of the trip I swore it was fractured. Thank God it wasn't.

my cousins, aunts, uncles, grandparents, friends know a lot of people in jamaica from going there so often and my cousin was sort of talking to this one guy who introduced me to his friend.

he definitely had to grow on me. i was by no means looking for a man at the time because i was going thru divorce....plus i was aware of all the stories of the whole tourist hook up thing. he called me and we talked for over a year before i ever took him seriously....up til that point i never once called him. i just went to jamica everytime my family would go and that is how i really started to think maybe he could be the person for me. i gave him a really hard time for the longest time because i was just so skeptical which turned out to be so unfair to him because he is the most humble, caring and real person i could ever meet.

we have been to the falls many times together. my son loves to climb the falls with him.

i filed about 9 months after that even though i still had reservations about it. turned out to be the best decision i ever made..
