I have tons, nothing I can take at work or while driving so mi afi wait till mi reach ome...

dillon.. girl i feel for u.. i know how those lil princesses can be.. mine has an older sister, but u would nver know it the way she acts sometimes LOL..

so was ur step son w/ his mother in JA?? how old is he..

are u guys making any plans for adjusting them into schools here.. I mean u and island if she comes on soon.. just wondering what that transition may be like.. i know u are taking it one step at a time.. family adjustment first.. roger always laugh at me cuz i am talking bout step b before i get to step a.. just how i am LOL

Ya he was with his mother in JA and he is 9 my daughter is 7.

I don't know how the school thing is going to work out. I will call them next week as their offices have been closed for summer. I was going to PM Tre and see if she has any advice on how to handle this but haven't had the chance to yet.

LOL, your advice is the type to get me in trouble!

A word of warning here.....if you want to truly be private and secure, go to the settings and make ALL the setting tabs FRIENDS ONLY. Then you can control it.

I am not talking about on here - There is way way too much public access to this site - I was talking about my site - Very secure and restricted to who can see what in what area -

I was talking FB, Sus. Yeah, I know it's way too open on here. Thus my reluctance to put things out there sometimes. I actually know exactly WHO some of the people spying on me in here are. Even if they think they are so smart!

J2A♥oasis, Thanks. I echo Quana's questions about the job situation. Is something else lined up or do we need to include this situation in our prayers?

Please do keep me and my family's situation in your prayers. I am the head of household and the only income that comes in is through my employment (no c/s or anything.) However, some things you just have to be thankful for. Despite the bleak appearance, with my severance, bonuses and unemployment it looks like I could sit out for almost 2 years and still be able to keep the kids in private school and take my JA trips before I have start worrying about bills. Still while I will be taking some time off, hopefully I won't even be out of work 6 months… I am planning to start looking right away…that is as soon as I return from my next trip to JA. :D

You might have done this already, but have them send with his son all of his school records/vaccine and such. Dang, age 9, that's how old I was when I came here....back then it was not cool to have a Jamaican accent, lord did they ever tease me, but I just laughed at them. I hated school in the states, I was way ahead of the grade they put me in so I was bored most of the time, but was always the teacher's pet...all the way through highschool.

You're on the right track. Find out what you can from your daugther's school and what you'll need to provide to them.

All this talk about Facebook...Is it really that good...My hubby has one but he is hardly on it...he checks every so often because his sister is on it and they talk sometimes using that but i don't see how someone can get so wrapped up into it...IDK...i guess its because i don't have that many friends.... :crying: ...
