and i guess i am still HIDING my happy life in a way from my ex..tyring to be a shadow until i know he can cope w/ all this or until he moves on.. but that may be never.. GOSH u would think the divorce would have been a relief from all this guilt and fear.. NO SUCH THING..

Sweetie, I think your primary focus should be you...your kids and now Roger. Don't do him a disservice by hiding your happiness. He wants to know you are proud of him and your love. Forget about the comfort level of your ex. He is a grown a* man...fully capable of finding his own happiness and comfort. If he is not over you...oh well. But, you are still giving him too much power over your life.

You have nothing to feel guilty for...he ruined the marriage...you deserve to live and enjoy your new life without him in it.

u guys are right.. i feel bad.. i wouldn't want him to make me feel that way.. i think it was SOOOO Easy becuz he would actually keep walking ahead if i saw somebody at the store.. we had never discussed my uneasiness..he just knew and maybe he is a lil uneasy too..

We are pretty much settled in. Next is going to be the kid adjustment again. My daughter has been out in Vegas with my parents since the wedding and she should be back next week. His son is flying into NYC tomorrow and will stay with his grandmother until we go and pick him up at the end of the month. So after that the happy family bonding time will begin. It is going to be hard on my daughter for sure because she is used to being the only one. I can only pray that it will go as smoothly as possible.

Kids are resiliant. She will love to have someone around to play with....once she gets used to the idea.

A word of warning here.....if you want to truly be private and secure, go to the settings and make ALL the setting tabs FRIENDS ONLY. Then you can control it.

I am not talking about on here - There is way way too much public access to this site - I was talking about my site - Very secure and restricted to who can see what in what area -

Please do keep me and my family's situation in your prayers. I am the head of household and the only income that comes in is through my employment (no c/s or anything.) However, some things you just have to be thankful for. Despite the bleak appearance, with my severance, bonuses and unemployment it looks like I could sit out for almost 2 years and still be able to keep the kids in private school and take my JA trips before I have start worrying about bills. Still while I will be taking some time off, hopefully I won’t even be out of work 6 months… I am planning to start looking right away…that is as soon as I return from my next trip to JA. :D
