Hey Everyone...this thread has been sooo slow. I remember I would have pages and pages to catch up on if I came in at this time of day. I miss my Kimmy, Jonesie, Yaads, and Gillian. *Pout*

Such is how it goes sometimes, Jawi.

Life's just a crazy ride on a run away train

You can't go back for what you've missed

So make it count, hold on tight find a way to make it right

You only get one trip

So make it good, make it last 'cause it all flies by so fast

Hi again everyone, I'm back again for another question - so the girl I asked about last time figured her stuff out and got her intreview. Her Jamaican went to his interview and they actually told him to come back with her?!

Has anyone ever heard of this? I didn't know they could demand you go to the interview.

Just curious - her job won't give her any vacation time so she's not able to go. So I wanted to get your opinion - do you think if he shows back up with a letter from her employer saying she could not be granted any time off that would help them at all???

It couldn't hurt. But, if they requested she show, they want her to show. My advice is for her to call in sick a few days and make that interview.

So, i'm trying hard to stay positive ...any pre interview tips? culture1 ps...what a boring all star game.

Congratulations Culture!!!! I know that is a load off finally. How is your SO health now? My only pre-interview tip would be don't sweat it.

On the big cat pics - I found some of a cat we had growing up that was part Maine ####### - with our full grown Lhasa -

How cute...and I am so not an animal lover. Is that a puppy she is strangling?

Good morning VJ.

Happy Birthday My2.

I am finishing up my JA trip details. Has anyone used to used JUTA from the airport? How much does it cost?

I used JUTA Negril with no problems at all...but I didn't know private drivers for that side of the island. There are a lot of stops...but it was my first time...so I sat back and enjoyed the ride. It didn't hurt that A was right next to me serenading the entire time.

Thanks. I can't open his website from work. My driver quoted $20 per person one-way and my friends said it was too much

Do you know if Chef and Libby are still in JA?

too much? I guess they plan on carrying all their luggage on a bicycle to Negril then.:blink::wacko:

Finesse did you try the letter from work, or did you just follow the blue slip as requested? I wonder why some couples have to be there and others don't. Did your husband say or do something @ the first interview that made them think they needed more info or proof from you? Just curious...

He LOVED it and you should have seen his face when he saw the lake. He kept swearing that it is an ocean. We had a great time.

Perhaps I can post 400+ times to get my next heart, while everyone else is chatting away on Sus's board...

I get off work in 3 hours today. The ONLY benefit of coming in early. But I much rather sleep two more hours in the morning and get off at 6 instead of 4.

I've been living off caffeine today.
