Jawi you are crazy (in a good way)!

I met another JA man on the same trip I met Lehi. I talked to both of them at the same time for a while (just talked....HONEST!) after I returned home & had never done anything physical with either of them when we met. It only took a couple weeks for his psycho side to come out and I cut ties quickly and chose the right man. He was crazy like that with the calling though....over and over and any time of day. He finally quit but will resurface every 6 months or so just to tell me he has a new # which I promptly block! What is up with that?? I wonder how bad it would've been if we'd gotten errr....umm...'physical'!

Girl I exchanged numbers with a cab driver (I do this when I get a good one that is fair and honest)...he was so good that he did the OJ sprint through the airport to bring me my precious digital camera that I left in the cab because I was distraught to be leaving. I was a streaked~makeup~sobby mess! Anyway, he began calling on a regular basis...no problem...I don't mind new friends.

I went back to Jamaica with my sister, and let him pick us up at the airport. My sister is sitting in the back seat and notices that we need gas. We both offer to pay for the gas...just pull over so we don't end up running out. He of course tells us we are okay. We are bugging him to stop the entire way. Well we are headed to Ochi and make it as far as Discovery Bay and the car stops. That fool blamed it on engine problems....and EVERYTHING but running out of gas. He flags down a JUTA tour bus...and we get on. He gets upset because I don't want to spend my entire trip with him...UUUCKKK! He knew I had a man. Then, when I'm getting ready to leave he tells me "See you messed up my surprise! I have my ticket and my visa...I was going to come home with you this trip!" I said "Wh-wha-whaT?? Since when? BBuutt Wh-Why?" I must say it was the first time I didn't have a snappy comeback...I was utterly speechless. Well, needless to say I no longer use his services. I couldn't believe he really assumed we were in a relationship and I would be happy with his STUPID surprise.

I have so many crazy cab driver stories I could tell you guys...I could start a new story just on my personal experiences in Jamaica and it would be a bestseller. Hilarious and crazy all at the same time.

Man.... Montego Bay hotels are QUITE expensive compared to Negril hotels. The cheapest one is Toby's and that comes to about $100/night.

I've decided not to book ahead of time online and just show up and go hotel-to-hotel until I find something closer to $70.

girl, i know how tough this can be. my son has some anger management issues and he is only 12.

about a year ago, we got into an argument and he ran off to his room, slammed the door, and proceeded to mash up the whole room. he broke the lamp, alarm clock, smashed picture frames, ripped everything off the wall, threw ish out the window, screaming and all type a #######...it was MADNESS. I kicked him out and told him to go to his dad's. He wasn't gone but 1 week and he came home talking bout he's sorry and he misses me.

kids brains are not developed enough (some adults are not either) to process through their feelings and make sense of change and adjustment in their life. most of it gets built up until something small sets them off and then all hell breaks loose.

try some family counseling. i know it sounds stupid but it has really helped us. not only has my son been able to express his feelings but my husband and i have learned some new techniques on how to deal with my son and not make the situation worse. we have also learned how to diffuse a volatile situation if one may occur and how to talk about what is bothering us to prevent one from happening in the first place...

Spent all day out on the river. I'm sunburned and sore. Had a great day of swimming, boating, kneeboarding (oh yeah, I am hooked!), and relaxing. Wish it never ended.

I use Ringyard & Rebtel, that way if one is acting up, I have the other.

I also use Telna & it's pretty competitive with the rates & the best part is that it charges by the SECOND & doesn't round up to the next minute. They do charge federal tax on it at the end of the month though but still it's not much. http://www.telna.com

It could've been scary! Even now I get a little nervous going up to the cliffs in Negril cause I don't want to run in to him but I've also heard he's a giggolo anyway so he's probably just working anyone he can find. What was freaky was his 'veiled' text message threat when I told him I was also talking to someone else and how he went off on me. He texted something about how another white woman up there had a man in Westmoreland, then left him for another man in Mobay and soon after, both the new man and the woman were found dead...murdered! He wrote her name and told me to go look it up on the computer. After that I wouldn't take another call from him! Only way he could get through is if it was a different number or not listed.

They see a sweet guy who is spending time with me and are probably longing for the same thing with their men (who don't do that) or the men they wish they had. Of course, they forget about the crazy visa process, the long distance relationship and they don't see how hard the adjustment process is....they just see the good stuff on the outside. But if any of my friends overstep their bounds, I'm gonna have to do that thing you said where I smack myself in the face and say "I didn't want to go to jail again but if I have to!"

Aww Philly I'm sorry your boys are putting you through all this! Finesse is probably right, some family counseling might help everyone learn to cope better. But I also think it's good that he stays somewhere else until everything cools down and hopefully he can appreciate what he has living with you.

Sometimes my Dad did some seriously harsh things to discipline me (like pinning me to the wall by my neck while my feet dangled) but I tell you what, I NEVER made the same mistake twice (like cutting school for 3 weeks)!! I'm not condoning actions as severe as what my Dad did but I'm saying sometimes it takes some extreme measures for it to really sink in.

That beats my crazy man story fi true! My crazy guy apparently assumed we were in a relationship after talking on the phone a couple weeks but it takes someone really out there to assume he can come home with you!

It's gonna be a long boring day at work, I'm sure I'm not the only one who would enjoy another story or two!
