So it seems that we are not going to bring our troops home but shift them somewhere else. Way to go Obama the Socialist.

First of all this has absolutely nothing to do with socialism & secondly Obama always said he would add troops in Afghanistan. He has said that all U.S. troops would be out of Iraq by 2011 & I'm not sure that will be feasible (we will see).

not surprising really. out of iraq by 2011, just in time for the reelection campaign.

either way one slices it, we're chasing our tails over there and we need to drastically reduce our presence (and costs).

That's one thing we can agree on (getting out of Iraq & Afghanistan). However it has to to be done responsibly & with the advice of the senior military leadership.
