My husband has his biometrics appointment today! YIPEE!!! Hopefully it will go smoothly!

How long does it take between biometrics and the time his I-765 will be approved (approximately?) They haven't requested any additional information for that!

And what about the AOS? How long after biometrics do they schedule an interview? Any ideas?

Just wondering.

Hi! For my husband, it took about a month after his biometrics for his EAD to be approved; we actually got his interview notice before the EAD approval (about two weeks after his biometrics appointment, we received the notice). This certainly varies depending on how backlogged your local office is, but you should see some movement on his applications soon! Good luck!

5-13-09: Green card approved.

6-24-09: Received green card.

8-13-11: Received 10-year green card.

2-21-12: Sent N-400 to Dallas Lock box.

7-18-12: Naturalization interview (passed!).

You have to wait a month approx. If everything goes well, you will get your EAD and your AP in a month. The AOS will take a little more time. I am still waiting for mine. Hopefully I will have news soon.....good luck!!!! :thumbs:
