We tried to talk to someone at USCIS today.

It is most difficult to get directions or direct answers on what you should/shouldn't include.

What we figured out ourselves was, that when the page printed, it printed landscape without

the footer Page 8 on it. That's how we submitted it.

An we suppose that's why they didn't recognize it?

I'd like to ask regarding an email received from NVC, it's an appointment letter for my interview in the US Embassy in Manila. I saw my name in bold letters but there's a big problem on it, the spelling of my name is incorrect, they spelled it incorrectly. What step will I do in order to fix the spelling of my name? Pls reply...Thank you so much.

hmmm...im confused. because your post above says that you're looking to see how long before packet gets to USEM from NVC. but your personal signature indicated that you've already gotten your visa.

but in any case, NVC schedules interviews on the 2nd week of each month for the following month. so if you missed it in september, they would've scheduled you already in October. it's not November and still no interview date? you need to contact NVC to see what's going on.

and about taking the medical, if you have copy of your NOA2 letter from NVC, you can take that along with all the necessary documents medical for medical and get medical done.

Your medical is good for 1 year

for Philippines....if results of medical is ok, meaning beneficiary passed, the validity is 6 months only. if there was a snag on the medical, it gets shorten to 3 months validity.

USCIS just received my I-130 petition for my husband today so it looks like we are going to be playing the waiting game for the next few months. If anyone has had experience bringing their spouse over from Mumbai or just India, in general, I would love to hear from you. I'm curious what the CR-1 visa process is like for this location.
