I have health insurance at last! After going months without cover, it is such a relief! :D

We managed to get in on Torans Union family plan, which I never thought we could get until at least after I got my greencard- but we just showed them the marriage cert and explained that I dont have a greencard or SSN yet- but she said that wasnt a problem!:dance:

Now, Toran is convinced we will get the AOS medical done and the insurance will cover it- but I am like no way!! I dont really know how the health system works over here- but id be pretty sure no insurance plan would cover that right? Or am I wrong.....

Anyone got experience?

Hi

I do not reallyknow either but my insurance for my husband does coverage overseas and it says that most health care providers require payment first but then I or he can submit the paper work to see what my insurance will cover and then reimburse us. Some thing to check with your insurance provider.

Good luck,

Michele

Best to ask your insurance company and find out. I know there a a few people who have managed it, but most end up paying the cash. No harm is trying...
