NVC calling a Original Police Certificate a copy

Hi everyone,

My case got completed today.!! Thanks Allah and everyone on VJ.

Can someone please tell me when they will ship the case to the embassy and also when will i get an email for the interview letter.

Another issue is that I called the NVC and operator confirmed that my case is completed but my wife needs to bring the original police certificate. I explained the operator that I have sent the originals with DS-230, but she said that those were not originals instead those were copies. I also checked my paperwork but I have copies with me which I did before sending originals. It seems that I may have to get new Police reports.

If possible get another original copy. It will do no good arguing a valid point,,, Cause, if you are right and they are wrong, they are still the gatekeeper

and you will not get the visa. Sometimes better just to give them what they ask for,,, Go ahead and ask why,,, but, comply.

They did the same thing with me! Just get a new PCC before the interview. Good luck!!!!!

HELLO I READ YOUR POSTED AND SEEMS WE'RE SAME CASE COULD YOU HELP ME IF I ASKING YOU WHAT DID U DO AFTER YOU GOT THE INTRUSTION PACKET AGENT.. BCAUSE I GOT EMAIL FROM NVC ITS WAS---INTRUCTION PACKET AGENT-- HAVE YOU RESEND AGAIN ALL YOUR ORIGINAL DOCUMENT.. I DIDNT DO ANYTHING YET ABOUT THIS EMAIL COZ I DNT KNOW WHAT DO TO YET.. THANK YOU HOPE YOU CAN SHARE ME YOUR EXPERIENCE FOR THIS PROCESSING..

I also have the same problem with you. I am the beneficiary and I'm about to send my IV packet.

I have lived in 3 cities here in the Philippines over 6 months. I need to travel going back to my old hometown and previous college location so I can acquire these police clearances. I only have here a police clearance to where I am living right now. My question is,

Can I possible just bring the other 2 police clearances by the time I'll have my interview?

hahaha i dnt know what to do too coz my husband who will do it later nor the lawyer since yesterday is 4 of july in usa so it was a public holiday so by monday my husband will call to the NVC.. im just here was trying to figure out what does mean (instruction packet agent) coz my friend told me that i have to get a new document and send to NVC again...which i already sent..

for your case i dnt think that you have to get a police clearance every place you lived in the philippines becoz NBI is good enough for you, unless u went in abraod and lived for over 6 mos..

my case since in here in abraod so i need NBI and police clearance here in hongkong.. that i think i got wrong form coz i applied police clreance with out notice from NVC but police officer in hongkong they just got the checklist . then police officer said they will forward my police cert in NVC.. so there's no need to call them or NVC.. gulo noh..

haha! ang gulo nga sis. But Anyway, di na lang ako kukuha ng police clearances from all those places I lived for at least 6 months. NBI should really cover those. Cos I believe, all our police stations does submit records to the NBI. diva?

hello ymalia,

you do not have to do anything. This email got me confused too. I think it is some kind of automatic email that is generated after they received the papers. I beleive it is just asking to file DS-230 and all required documents. I done nothing after the email. I waited and the completed my case.

You may get another email about CheckList Cover Letter email. It will tell you if you are missing any papers and needs to send them now or bring it at the interview time. I hope I answer your question. Please feel free to ask again or pm me. BTW I did not use my computer for a while thats why late reply.
