I understand that the cost of I-131 is included in the AOS payment of $1010. Am I able to file for an AP when I have nowhere to go? Because the forms ask when my departure date is but what if I'd just like to have the AP incase I want to travel? Am I able to do this or should I just not apply for AP but do I have to pay for it regardless?

You can apply, sure. For date(s) intending to travel you could simply put "Unknown at this time", "Summer/Fall 2009" or something similar.

Oh thank you so much!! And one more question about the I-765. Numbers 14-17 are confusing.

The manner of last entry

current immigration status

And then the whole eligibity category thing?? What do I write there??

I wanted to put K1 for the first 2 questions but I have no idea what the eligibility category stuff means at all
