Hi,

For all those that consider whether to email or snail mail their DS3032, I have some NVC processing timelines...I guess just to verify what has already been discussed. It takes NVC no less than 8-9 days just to open an email sent to NVCinquiry so that's about the time you will have to wait for your DS3032 to show up in the system. The times when it was quicker to email the form are over!

 still waiting for my ds3032 to be accepted...

I agree completely! I emailed and sent a hard copy and a week after they generated my IV fee bill I got an email response to my emailed version saying they had already accepted the hardcopy and the agent was on record. No kidding! I still think it's worthwhile to send both just in case they decide to check emails, but it seems like they aren't able to keep up with the volume now that they're relying on email more.

I emailed the DS-3032 on June 16, 2009. I received word on June 30, 2009 that it was accepted. They told me it takes around 2 weeks for them to respond to emails at the moment.

It hasn't been faster for quite a while.

I would also discourage people from sending in an Email and a hard copy. When you do that you slow them down.

Imagine if you were working somewhere and your customers always sent you an email copy and a hard copy which then requires 2 people to look at the same document. It completely wastes their time.

So it is even worse than I thought...I emailed mine 10 days ago and still no news...

When I emailed my DS230, I didn't received any confirmation that they received it. After 5 days, I received an email stating that the choice of agent is now accepted. whew!

Just dont panic guys if you haven't received your DS230 give it a week. People get to the end of the line with this process, we just have to have a decent amount of patience.

It definately does take them a while to review emails. However it is much quicker than snail mail.

We sent in our request 2 or 3 times before we realized that.

NVC is not as impatient as us, checking their inbox throughout the day.

I am sure they have a system, and if you be a little patient (which is hard) it will pay off

Patience is virtue!

I opted to simply email my ds3032 everyday until they would get it. 9 days waiting they got it. Had no problem with emailing it whatsoever. Ofcourse before-hand I remembered to give them mine and my husbands email addresses though. That is definitely a must.
