I don't mind it too much- not being in Canada for Canada Day. Canada Day was actually my dog Polly's birthday- she passed away a few months ago. She would have been 18 today. I miss my baby girl.

I really like 4th of July here. Mel and his friends buy a ton of fireworks and set them off in the backyard- the whole neighborhood will have fireworks going off, it really is a great thing to watch. My dog Cooper is horrified of fireworks- I got him some pills from the Vet for New Years and that worked out really well, so I will drug him up again on Saturday night.

They sure are!!! I went! The line was huuuuuuuuuge..... thankfully I have some keener friends who showed up early (I also showed up early, but they beat me)... we waited a little over 2 hours, but were amongst the first group to get in. It was GREAT. SO worth it.
