My history teacher didn't teach me this . I learnt all this when I arrived in US. American history 101 and you must have watched "Dragon The Bruce Lee Story". How mean was that towards Folks who are of Asians.

So yes it started with snatching land from red indians ( now called native American), African American (Blacks), white folks didn't even spare Asians. Now it's Mexicans and Arabs turn. God knows whose next?

as long as they didn't grow up watching charlie chan movies they don't seem to mind the word. actually, they seem to prefer being identified by ethnicity, rather than just as an "asian". call a chinese a chinese, but don't call a korean a chinese, buddy, and don't call a fillipina a thai. and whatever you do, don't call a japanese anything other than japanese.
