first of all good luck on your application.

1-How about putting several utility bills cell phone bills either shows both names or one name..( even it shows only one name it still confirms your joint residence address.

2- If you both have driver licence or just a state ID shows same address include copy of ID's together on one page as well.

3-about bank statements: when I filed on july 1st I included our joint bank account plus my personal bank account statements from 2007 to 2009 it was like 2 copies for each year.

4-on tax returns: dont forget to put 2 years tax return transcripts.

5-for pictures: I put 4- 5 regular pics for each year 2007-2008-2009 but most importantly I put our wedding pics as well. because I remember myself reading somewhere on uscis page says that

"we shouldnt assume that immigration examiner has contact to our previous AOS files." so if you have wedding pics I guess it doesnt hurt but only help to put few in your file.

good luck again!

A quick tip I spotted in another thread.

If you bank with BOA log into online banking and if your check sent to USCIS has been cashed click on Details and you will see an image of the check. You will likely see a hand written EAC number (13 characters in length INCLUDING the 'EAC') on the front of the check. This is your receipt number and can be used at uscis.gov to track your case even in advance of receiving the NOA1.

2 things

1. DId you NOA have the date of 7/14 as the receipt date located top right hand side? let us know what it is please.

2. It clearly states on the NOA I have that it says : Upon receipt of your ASC appoinment notice, you can find the status of your case on line. From wht I have read do not think it will be on line until after Biometris and I think they change the number from what I have seen.

Thanks though for updating the list, please double check that NOA date

PS I did get the number from the check but nothing comes up on the web :)

Thanks for pointing that out. I did insert the date I received it as opposed to the receipt date. I just amended the list and it should be OK now.

The EAC number on my NOA does indeed match the one on the check although no it doesn't work at uscis.gov right now. I will be interested to see when it does work. I didn't realize it wouldn't be until after the biometrics.

Hello!!!

I got NOA today, receipt date 7/8/2009.

What i am worried about is that they say that my green card was extended for one year and that I will be receiving letter from ASC with time, date, and location for biometrics. Is this good or bad? Is this extention thing something that is written on all NOA or only some ppl get this?

:crying:
