We received a biometrics appointment letter from the mail today. - 8/8/2009 at 8AM but we haven't received any NOA letter... Is this normal? Thanks.

October 1996-We met during college days.

April 24, '97-Started our relationship.

June '97-Kayz migrated to US

April '99-June '99 - Kayz trip to Philippines.

February-March '06 - Kayz 2nd trip

Update: I received my Biometrics appointment letter in the mail today. Is it possible to do an early biometrics or do I have to go on the date set in the letter? so here is my updated time line.

7/3/09-sent i-751 via priority mail (delivered 7/6/09)

7/7/09- Notice of action dated (received 7/11/09)

8/05/09- Biometrics Appointment (received 7/21/09)

One quick question..

Is it worth trying to get earlier biometrics?

Earlier would be so good, but does that mean things will move faster?

I would do that if I would know that it will make things faster rather than mess them up. When I looked at some blogs of those who are waiting long, it seemed that they did their biometrics earlier or later, could it be that it actually screws up things?

Or should I just go along things and USCIS times....

Hmm...

Personally, I would not do it. I work with people and at my job with are very particular about appointments and my boss sure gets annoyed when someone cancels, shows up late or too early, reschedules etc. And aside from my work, I would think there is some logic/order to the way they schedule/process these petitions, so when my time comes, I'll try to go on time.

I had already sent in my package on 7/09/09 and thought everything was ok when I saw on line that the package had been delivered. Well to my surprise the package was sent back to me because I was 6 days early in sending it in. Come on give me a break 6 days. Well I have sent it off one more time and hope this time all is really ok.
