My work needs that policy clearly stated somewhere on their forms for orientation. We just kicked someone out of the session for having a noisy 11-12 month old. There are some places kids just don't need to be.

i used to work for an American publisher in the 90s, and they had a strict policy about kids at work, and soliciting funds for your kids at work (i.e., selling candy for sports teams, etc...)

i work for an international company now, and people bring their kids ALL the time... and not only that, they have their kids hittin' me up for cash all the freakin' time... i support children's activities just as much as the next guy, but every day??
