- don't want babies, think babies are retarded, or even hate babies

- think there are way too many babies here already and we could lose a few

- don't think that "babies are a miracle"

- want to travel and enjoy their lives

I just can't get excited about babies. I'm happy for people who have just had them, but to be honest I'd rather just have another cat, myself.

I rarely find them cute and I do not EVER want to hold them. I find them a waste of my time.

Two days ago I went to see Transformers and in front of me in the line were a mother, with 4 kids. The older was around 4 the younger about 3 months. The movie started at 11:30 pm.

I went to the cinema to see Drag Me To Hell (not my choice, it was my friend's, I'm thinking of not liking her anymore cause of her poor taste in films) and there was a couple with a newborn in there.

so looking forward to our next long distance flight to europe in august. Thank God my kid is usually well behaved (for my own sanity) but I really hope to have one of you child-hating miserable old people on board to leave a shitty diaper on your seat when you use the bathroom.

When my girlfriend was pregnant about 25 years ago, I asked her WHY would she want to have a baby.

Her answer was : Because I want one !

I thought that was rather selfish.

That's basically it.

Now I know this is the Anti-Baby thread, but for those of you who are unsure. Here are somethings to consider about kids....

1. You spend the first two years of their life teaching them to walk and talk. Then you spend the next sixteen telling them to sit down and shut up.

2. Grandchildren are God's reward for not going completely loopy.

3. Mothers of teens now know why some animals eat their young.

4. Children seldom misquote you. In fact, they usually repeat word for word what you shouldn't have said.

5. The main purpose of holding children's parties is to remind yourself that there are children more awful than your own.

6. We childproofed our homes, but they are still getting in.

And another fun bit of advicem if you have a lot of tension and you get a headache, do what it says on the bottle. "Take two aspirin and keep away from children
