Hi guys!

I went to school in MD for 3 years and I read somewhere that you have to provide security clearance to any place youve lived past 16 years of age.

Anyway do I have to do that for the US -- and do it for both state and federal?

Finally married... and still married... ;)

Green card received: March 18, 2011

Removal of Conditions:

GC Expiration: March 11, 2012

Documents sent: December 13, 2011

NOA-1 received: December 15, 2011

Check cashed: Red said yes when asked

Biometrics: January 25, 2012

Letter approving 10-year GC: September 7, 2012

Production of 10-year GC: September 15, 2012

Police checks not required for the US.

My Advice is usually based on "Worst Case Scenario" and what is written in the rules/laws/instructions. That is the way I roll... -Protect your Status - file before your I-94 expires.

Moving this to consulate/embassy forum, police certs needed at time of visa interview.

About USA:

Note: Present and former residents of the United States should NOT obtain any police certificates covering their residence in the U.S.

This is handed by USCIS, NVC and Consulate when they do name checks.

OUR TIME LINE Please do a timeline it helps us all, thanks.

Is now a US Citizen immigration completed Jan 12, 2012.

Not for USA, they have national records here for anything naughty you did in the USA.
