it was his first time to send using zoom... he recieved a mail saying Your Xoom Money Transfer Has Been Cancelled but he was charged.. did anyone experience the same problem.. he tried calling customer service for an hour already n no one was answering

First time? you might have to contact your bank to allow Xoom x-fers especially if it is a large amount. Don't know why he was still charged though, is the recipient able to access the money?

It works great for me everytime.

Once, I had an issue because the bank closed the account I was sending to. A different account was opened and they sent to it. A bump in the process does take some time to resolve, but no worries, they won't steal from you.

Im the recepient and the teller said it was cancelled (me n my fiancee recieved a cancelation email and the status online of the transaction online was COMPLETELY CANCELED). it was deducted in his account.. we will never use xoom again..

With this being the second or third XOOM problem thread this past few weeks , I'm gonna be leery of using them...especially considering I just started using them 2 weeks ago and my first transaction had problems that caused a 5 day delay...because they didn't have a JR spot on their site and the person I sent it to has Jr on their bank account so they had some long processing to confirm same person... :blink:
