Trinidad US Embassy waiting time

Well here i am again waiting. We made it thru various stages-NOA2, NVC etc and now we already did the packet 3- returned it the next day. Im wondering if anyone can give me some insight cuz i am getting different answers when i call the embassy in Trinidad. 1st of all, we have everything ready- all the documents are in order- we are just waiting for the medical exam and her interview. Well, i called the embassy there today and asked when we might get packet 4 and about the medical appt. I was told that packet 4 is generated only once a month, on the 25th and we luckily returned packet 3 on the 25th of June so there is nothing we can do but wait til after July25th, as that is when packet 4 would be done. if we had returned if just a day later we would have had to wait til Aug 25th because it wouldnt go into the system until July 25th. i asked if we could proceed with the medical while we wait and was told no, we had to wait til July 25th to do that. the info regarding the medical exam was supposed to be in packet 3 and it wasnt. now its in packet 4. i get the feeling they are flying by the seat of their pants so to speak. there are times i call , speak to different people and get different answers. i hate being at the mercy of people that act [ over the phone ] like they dont really know what they are doing. at this rate, we will not get our interview until Aug or Sept. i just didnt think it took that long after the case got to the consulate. anyone have experience with this emabssy or another that they would like to share?
