Hello everyone... ALit2 here, i just create a new account coz i forgot about my password with my first account. My priority date is Sept. 28, 2008, it was approved last January 6, 2010. And now the process is really getting faster and faster (we owe it to our loving God)... Yesterday my father-in-law made a call coz my husband is now here in the Philippines for his yearly vacation, we're kind a surprise and super happy when my father-in-law told us that my husband has a mail from NVC, it was the IV Bill i supposed coz he told my husband that he had to pay $70. After the long talk with him we decided to visit the Visa Bulletin website and we found out about the good news... The visa bulletin priority date for JUne is Jan. 2008 and ours is Sept. 2008.

My question is, since my husband is here in the Philippines until June 10 how can we pay for the $70? Is there any effect with the processing if he will pay the $70 when he got there in US on June 10? Can anyone tell us what is the best thing to do?

Thanks in advance and God Bless us all....

Hello everyone!!!

I hope someone can help me and explain the 2009 Poverty Guidelines for Immigrant Visa Processing

Here it is:

SIZE OF FAMILY UNIT: 5

125% of Poverty Guidelines: $32,238

Our household size is my husband, me and our 3 children, a total of 5...

To qualify my husband as a sponsor, hes must demonstrate that his income is at least 125 percent of the current Federal poverty guideline... The household size of 5 is equal to $32,328...

Sorry for my ignorance but IS THIS COMPUTED BASE IN A YEARLY INCOME OF THE SPONSOR?

"I don't know how to make mytimeline that's why I just make it on my signature... sorry"

Sonny&Sunny,

He must earned at least 32,328 to meet the required poverty guideline for a family of 5.

If not then he can get a joint sponsor.

ANY ONE NKOW WHAT HAPPEN AFTER THE NVC RECIEVE THE BIRTHCERTIFICATE TO JOIN PETITION?

They will update your case to include your son/daughter in your petition.

Better yet call NVC in a week or two to check if they have approved your request.

Thanks Raymon for your answer... there computations of required poverty guideline is a YEARLY INCOME of the sponsor???

Am I right?

I got another question... My priority date is July 2008, Can I ask NVC now if we can add our 3kids in my petition,

can I send email to NVC? Do i need to arrange our necessary documents or just wait?

When my father in law petition my husband, he declare that my husband has 3 children.

I believe he (father in law) pay some additional charges for my kids.

That's why I want to ask NVC regarding on my kids status.
