guys, i have a question.

maybe someone here knows the answer.

we all know that the F2A category is adjusting incredibly fast.

what if your petition is about to become current and your paper is still with the USCIS instead of NVC?

As of now, California service center currently processing June 2007 while the priority date for F2A is now Jan 2008.

I'm new to this process. When my parents petition me last 1996, there is no USCIS.

Upon submission of I-130, it will directly goes to NVC and NVC will send to you your case no. in a matter of 2 weeks.

Thanks and good luck to all of us.

Hi Yna,

Can you further elaborate on the vaccines?

From what I know, vaccines are mandatory unless you have a certificate or proof from your doctor.

Good luck to you and your family.

good day! can anyone answer, what if your petition is about to become current and your paper is still with the USCIS instead of NVC?

edgar, i think it's ok but when the consul wil ask you why it's under your sister's name just tell the consul that that's what you're using and of course the number of the petitioner should appear on your sister's bill and so does your sister's number should appear on the petitioner's bill.

you think we wont have a problem with that?

raymon, thank you for the greetings i really appreciate it :) about your question, if you are sure that you will have your interview this june then just don't let your son have his vaccine coz it will just delay the process and if you are sure that you will have your interview this coming july then make it sure that it's ending date of july coz otherwise it will delay the whole process... just like my daughter's..

about the tuberculin skin test, after one day the doctor will check it for what the result may be... and if it is positive your son will have his xray jsut like my daughter :) coz if it's positive they are worried if the child has/had tuberculosis... that's why if the result will come out positive they are required to have x-ray test actually both of my kids went x-rays and came out negative. so don't panic i know everyone in your family is healthy not has not experience tb at all. :)

are you the petitioner or your wife?

yes i am from cebu and sure your wife can call me i also have international number as well... if she's from the us.

Yna, thanks for answering my question. im just so worried about that tuberculine skin test, might cause

additional delay. His suppose to have one this May..so just to be on the safe side might cancelled that

for the time being and have his vaccination after they are done with the medical.

I am the petitioner and my wife is the bene..can you pm me your number in Cebu.

Thanks Yna.

Kareen, you will have insurance by the time you give birt.... just make sure that as long as you get here, the first thing you do is to apply for a SSN and in two weeks you get the card... have your hubby add you in his dependents.. and if you give birth before all this will be done, you can still be covered but just retro... if you have any query about your medical coverage with you giving birth in here in the US. PM me...

pls dont worry about $$$$ for your delivery.... We all have the means to all that here in the US.... unlike Phils.

clav, you need to wait for nvc to email you the coa you can't just get it by requesting unless if you are petitioning for a child aging out then you can. and you can contact nvc at number 603-334-0700. and the email nvcinquiry@state.gov it needs patience and since your prio date is 2008 then you need to wait for your prio to be current at the processing timeframe for you to recieve those coa, fees and etc... but since the processing timeframe is still attending to those 2007 prio dates then you really need to wait eventhough the nvc has a current visa for prio dates with january 2008.

thank you so uch yna. i never regret to register on this site. so informative so helpfull... tanx...

Hello everyone!!!

I hope someone can help me and explain the 2009 Poverty Guidelines for Immigrant Visa Processing

Here it is:

SIZE OF FAMILY UNIT: 5

125% of Poverty Guidelines: $32,238

Our household size is my husband, me and our 3 children, a total of 5...

To qualify my husband as a sponsor, hes must demonstrate that his income is at least 125 percent of the current Federal poverty guideline... The household size of 5 is equal to $32,328...

Sorry for my ignorance but IS THIS COMPUTED BASE IN A YEARLY INCOME OF THE SPONSOR?

"I don't know how to make mytimeline that's why I just make it on my signature... sorry"
