Kareen, advise hubby to send a letter to NVC informing them to add your daughter as a Derivative Beneficiary on your petition. You need to submit photocopies of her birth certificate, your marriage certificate and send them to this address.

National Visa Center

ATTN: WC

31 Rochester Avenue, Suite 102

Portsmouth, NH 03801-2909

Hope this help.

and please don't forget to send a copy of the approval notice. we have the same situation, i asked nvc to add a family member to the petition and we sent only the security paper birth cert., marriage cert., and the notice of approval. good luck!

@SAMKUNLE---so many things to prepare huh? you should have more plates, cups, spoons, forks, etc in the kitchen now, should have more space in your livingroom for some family games on saturday night, should have more time for everyone and not just for yourself, should have more things to consider in making daily simple decisions... more things than usual..... but now, you will be enjoying all the family time, the dinner time where all will be talking about everyones' day... and you will have a wife beside you now that will take care of you and for you to take care too.... you will have your lil angel that will add those very cute laughters in your apartment.. and you will soon start gather all the toys that are being scattered in the room... all these are the fruit from what you sow...

cant wait for my turn to come too.... enjoy... and send my regards to your wife and lil one.

oh so happy to hear that! i bet you will be enjoying the rest of your life with your family! good luck!

hi jeanette...i think u remember me..(my pd is 12 dec 2006..)how are you? ok do u have any update? then please do share..btw i have something to update that my brother called nvc about my case they said they won't send any more mail to our mail address they just said to send all the paper(police certificate, birth certificate, etc etc) what they need and they did send a checklist about what to send..and now my dad is filing those requirement they said that my interview will be scheduled from my local us consulate...i m so happy...now just watching visa bulletin and hoping for interview call...please share ur experiance

Twulf, same here i received email last night from NVC to pay the IV fee bil ($ 400)and paid online.

Are you done with your I-864? Already paid the $70, reciept, cover sheet printed as well; And a

link was provided for the affidavit of support processnig instruction. My question is do we go ahead and download the

form and send that to NVC with the cover sheet they provided or do we have to wait for further

instruction.

yes, after you paid the fee and got the cover sheet you will send it together with the requirements and forms. always remember after paying every fee you need to send them the forms and requirements and cover sheet and please state at the upper right corner of every paper your case number. good luck!

hello! can anyone teach me how to include my timeline to my posts? i need help...thanks!

sure! kareen, just go to your profile, then at the upper right corner you'll see "edit my profile" click on it, then at the left corner of the page you'll see "change signature" then wahlah! you are ready to put your timeline...

got excited upon seeing this info.

only 3 years of wait for me.

i really missed my wife and my daughter.

according to the Visa Bulletin, visa demand for the past 15 months is very low.

This is the reason why it was advancing at a rapid pace.

Hope that this pace will continue.

yeah i am hoping too so that our other halves here in vj family will not experience what we've all experienced... so glad that visa bulletin's moving so fast!

Ok thanks Raymon. Now that you've completed your I864, may be I can bug you with any questions I have :) . So you are emailing all the supporting docs + I864(fill, print, sign, scan) and will you also send hard copies through regular mail or just email? Have you confirmed from NVC if just email is okay or do you know of anyone who has done this without sending hard copies.

Leb Girl--- thanks for the input on supporting docs.

Hello everyone, missed you guys like crazy. Now that is some good news with the Visa Bulletin, and am sure all of us with December dates can almost be too sure our interviews will be in June, and maybe some might stray into July. But I miean that is such a huge sigh of relief after the heart-breaking move of just one month in the last bulletin. Can you believe that i have been going back every like time i could, to just be sure they haven't gone back to change the date from DEC 01???? So so too good to be true.

SAM, you are one blessed guy you know. Thanks for the honour of making me KNOW your family. I will miss them sore. Enjoy your lifes to the fullest. What we shared on that interview day can never be explained, only those going through the exact same thing can know the feeling.

TWULF, I just thought i sjould add my widow's mite to your question above. Be sure to fill in ALL the NAMES of the pple immigrating (that is the spouse and any number of children you gus have and have filed for) in the I-864 forms EVEN THOUGH you are using a co-sponsor. The petitioner should iclude all the names of the intending immigrants to his forms EVEN if his/her income is presumed low. The Co-sponsor form will complement that.

That was one of the major hitches we had in our journey, and it kind of delayed us somewhat, i mean whilst some of us spend 3-6weeks after the Choice of agent contact from NVC , we used a total of 3months.

Other contributing factors to our delay were that some documents were still not ready when we were asked to start submitting stuff, and mixed up some of NVC addresses. So mails got sent back after a week of posting and we had to resend again.

What am actually trying to say is that you can save yourselves some sleepless nights by getting EVERYTHING you can help getting READY. You can print off forms DS 230 online and fill it without dating, gather all your documents (marriage, Births, Divorce Certificates, travel passports, photo passports and any other doc specific to you situation). Just dont wait for an email from NVC before you spring into action.

Believe me the begining of the end of the whole journey is nearer than you think.

That is my story, now i know better and would not want you all to make the same mistakes we made.

Finally we got CASE COMPLETE on the 8th of April, and our PD Is Dec 27th 06! I cant believe this.

To MITCH and the rest of my ever expanding family let's keep our bodies together; let's keep one another warm. (L)
