Thanks you all guys for all the post.Im an LPR filing for my wife who is still in the philippines I filed for her on sept 05 and now were on the process of sending her DS 230.I called NVC because I have a daughter who is 2 yrs old and originally she is not included on the petition NVC said I need to mail her birth certificte so she can be included on the petition. My question is my wife is pregnant right now!does anybody have any idea if I can bring my 2nd baby if she will be born 2 months after the interview?

HI everyone! Called NVC automated voice response system and got my NVC Case Number! Im really happy because little by little I can see that they are really doing something with our petition. I know that this is just the start but im really thrilled to know my new case no.

Hi arttalip! What did NVC told u about your daughter including in the petition? What else did they tell you aside for mailing your child's birth certificate? Any other steps? I have the same situation with you.My daughter is not included in the petition, so maybe you can share a little something from your talk with NVC. Thanks!

i would suggest your wife has to use her visa right away and hop on that plane right after interview ... i know everything will be good during the interview... so she wont be delayed again with regards to your second angel... and your next lil angel will be a citizen after birth... ;)

so glad that you guys are already out of the tunnel and everything will be in perfect shape... goodluck to the rest of the process and dont forget to stop by VJ and say hello.. ok?

I read somewhere a while back that if a child is born outside of USA and the parents of the child are GC holders the child can come to US and get the admission as a GC (I think the child has to be under 2 years old). Do some more research on this. Hopefully she will get the visa before the birth.

Sweetapple is correct. The child is given the GC the first time it enters the US with a GC parent and it has to be under 2 years.

that was totally and perfectly correct and i think you were reading my post since i posted way back then that i gave birth during my stay in the Philippines and so blessed to bring my son here in the US. they have a child visa waiver...

you guys dont have to worry about bringing the newborn here in the US. its just that, they have to process that waiver in the embassy for another 10-15 days for the newborn baby which is all easy as long as you have all the evidences.....

Hi Smartsud,

You are right, its always nice to see someone from you own country going through the same process. Well, my application was filed April 2007 in TSC and it got approved Aug-10-2009. There is no way around it, I guess we just have to be patient and stay strong and I hope and pray for everyone that it ends on a great note and brings all of us together soon. Amen to that !!! :)

PS: You should check the visa bullentin on www.travel.state.gov for your priority date. I think they are processing somewhere in mid 2005, so God willing you wouldn't have to wait that long now till a visa is available (if your case is approved from USCIS and is at NVC), may be a year or so. Good luck.
