Hey VJ Guys my buddies guess what...? They sent me an email haha the DS3032 and the Affidavit of Support fee Bill... I'm so excited, like I said March everything happens for me... HEHEHEHEH :)

Now I have a question maybe you guys can help me with..

I don't make as much money to support my husband I know you need to make at least $45.000 or such a year... As you may know I'm going to go to lebanon for 5 months so I wont be working and I wont be able to support my husband. Now I know someone else can support him my question is can the person be a greencard holder or they have to be citizen of the U.S.?

My other question is I have yet to file for my 2009 taxes should I also wait to until I file my taxes for this yr?

Can I still pay the fee even though I haven't filed for my taxes?

Sorry guys I know a lot of question but if anyone can help it would be great...

Its how much income the person(s) in the US needs to be making.

It is about 125% over the poverty line, where did you get the number of $45,000

For two people is should be $18,212 look at this link:

You should call the nvc number which is 603-334-0700 and press 2 then 1 then 1 and put in your petition case number from uscis and see what it says do it every day if it says they still didn't get ur case then just keep waiting if 3 to 5 weeks go by and you still didn't hear anything from them then speak to a rep. from nvc..

Hello my VJ friends. I have some wonderful news. My wife and son's visas were approved today at the Lagos Consulate in Nigeria. We are so excited and relieved. It's been an extraordinary and long journey as you all can relate to. I want to thank you all for your support and encouragement.

My wife said that the interview went very smoothly. It lasted less than 3 minutes. The consular officer barely asked her any questions. The CO only asked her one question in the form of a statement - "so you and your husband have known each other for a long time?". My wife said "yes, we have known each other for about 10 years now; we met in college". The CO then asked to see pictures. She looked at a few pictures, and that was it. She said "congratulations, your visa has been approved". She asked my wife to pick up the visas next wednesday.

My wife could not believe it. I can't believe it. All of the mountain of evidence that she took with her - email logs, phone records, bank statements, etc were not looked at at all. All praise to God for making this a smooth process. A

My wife will be arriving in San Francisco airport next week Sunday. I can't wait to be reunited with her. The journey has lasted too long, but it's over now. I pray all of you have a smooth visa process too like we did.

Thanks again for all your support!
