victims? sufferers?....in my own point of view... we were given choices and let me enumerate a few: we choose to stay here in the US to have a better and greener pasture for our family, we choose to marry someone that is not from here because we were all destined to that someone from the beginning.

at the moment that we flew here in the US alone, we are already giving immigration people the option for all the waiting agony if we decide to petition our spouses. they did not force us to come here in the US so, we still have a choice if you want to suffer the so called "consequences".

for me, i dont want to see the bad side of it... just want to make the best part of it and be thankful that AMERICA is still welcoming and has a system to have my husband over even though it takes forever.

Well said.

This is an oft repeated argument frequently put up in various posts and forums. But if this were true then half a dozen senators including Sen.Hillary Clinton would not have used the term"suffferings" for the families of LPRs.In her speech in the US Senate in 2008 she said,a million LPRs in this country are suffering every day when they cannot have their families join them. She did not say,it was 'your choice' to come here.

Heeeey Guys I called NVC today my case has a BRT(with Numbers) and its said my case file is F2A under March is this a good thing or bad LOL i'm so confused

BRT stands for Beirut. The 1st three letters are an abbreviation for the overseas embassy or consulate that will process the immigrant VISA. Thats good to know..finally you got to have the case#.. :D

@Mus24 -- do you really want to hear from them that its our own choice to come here in the US? really??? well, i dont want to start that argument again in this thread... suffering maybe yea but victims???... and you can believe whatever you want to believe.. thats why i stated that they are my own beliefs and conclusions... you are always welcome to believe me or not and just forget what i wrote if you dont....

well, well, well... i just should celebrate that God preserved my life for 30 years now..... im inviting you guys (my vj friends) for a simple, relaxing karaoke party... leave me a msg if you want. ha! ha! ha!

hi, we got our case# too last december and SAMKUNLE was advicing me to just wait for them to mail it to me but in your case since your priority date is already current for NVC processing then maybe you can download some stuff already and can request that docs through email?? just my own thinking.. im pretty sure the rest of our family that are already have their case completed can answer you better....

I know thanx Mitch... So i wait now lol..

Get this so my father was overseas last week, so I told my husband to sign the DS 230 and DS 3032 and I'll fill out the rest and send me 2inch 4 pictures.. Guess what he did

1. He signed the sworn page 4 when he wasn't supposed to..

2. The picture was 4.6 wait it gets better..

3. the DS 230 was printed with blue highlights

4. I asked him to make copies of his p.p (didn't get it)

This is why I am nervous and I am doing everything ahead of time. Because when you have a husband that just doesn't understand lol you will be on a bigger journey..

HAHAHAHHA!!! that's funny... well, practice makes perfect.. you still have time to practice and by the time your stuff will be here from NVC then he'll do it perfectly... hahahahahah!!! but i can relate with all that and that was one of the reasons why i wanna be there during embassy processing... to help him with all the paper works and all.... dont be nervous! you'll be fine.
