Lebanese Girl,

I remember you called the USCIS and now I see that they approved your I-130. Can you tell me how long did it take for you because my I-130 is still pending, I am so upset. Did you speak with an immigraion officer and they looked into your case or not? anything might help me make a decision on what to do next.

Why are you not doing AOS here? If the visa bulletin moves forward like last month you should be able to file I-485 in June or earlier. I hear AOS approval does not take long.

MY BELIEFS AND CONCLUSIONS:

1. USCIS is kicking their *** off to approve cases.. and they are really working hard up there... cases are being approve in no time.

2. this thread has the most number of views and the most number of replies... we have tight family ties... the joy of other is a joy to everyone.

3. when you belong to VJ family, your agony is LESS!!!

4. immigration system is urging LPRs to be separated to be together...

5. Patience is VIRTUE.... the whole process is such a heartache but the least that we can do is to support each other and we all know that sooner or

later... we'll be all get together with our so called loveones but immigration calls them BENEFICIARIES.

In cases when the applicant is made to wait 5 years to join his/her family,I'd call them victims or the sufferers rather than beneficiaries.

victims? sufferers?....in my own point of view... we were given choices and let me enumerate a few: we choose to stay here in the US to have a better and greener pasture for our family, we choose to marry someone that is not from here because we were all destined to that someone from the beginning.

at the moment that we flew here in the US alone, we are already giving immigration people the option for all the waiting agony if we decide to petition our spouses. they did not force us to come here in the US so, we still have a choice if you want to suffer the so called "consequences".

for me, i dont want to see the bad side of it... just want to make the best part of it and be thankful that AMERICA is still welcoming and has a system to have my husband over even though it takes forever.

LOL i get those feelings every other month lol, feeling like nothing seems to matter to me anymore and i just give up hope... But then I start thinking, when I was back home I wasn't happy in choice of life.. I wasn't eating everthing I wanted I was buying everything I wanted I wasn't doing everthing I wanted to be doing.. So I think twice, but there are those moments lol and I hate them because sometimes they win me.. But my mind comes right back and attacks my heart and I stay lol...
