Damn so it's another 7months for this whole process to finish plus waiting for an appointment so basically from this day until 8-9 months I have to wait.. Is that about correct..? Ugh this is crazy, I'm here thinking that you have to wait 2 to 3 months and boom my husband will be here..

i believe what they were saying is they waited 7MONTHS from approval till the choice of agent documents will come. since you were just approved then have to wait 7months or sooo (that would be september) till you'll hear another thing from them... im just stating here the worst scenario. but based on our friends' case complete timelines, the whole processing which includes mailing of documents to NVC... the checking... and all... normally will take 3-4 months.... and then another LOONNNGGG WAIT for your priority date to be currect for visa availability.

so, its NOT gonna be like BOOM!!! your hubby will be here in a blink of an eye... to our friends that are already reunited with their beloved can say "BEEN THERE, DONE THAT" so lets all hang in there...just like our friend Michelle_jim, they waited too but now, lo and behold!!!! she's already here in the US enjoying the cold weather hahahah ....and will live happily ever after... we all will have our own turn.....

just like what everyone is trying to guess... it will take a year from approval till interview date... and if your case was filed 2007 and your beneficiary's interview will be early next year (assuming!!!) then that will be 4 YEARS TOTAL.

hi mitch.. more likely your hubby will have his interview by the end of this year if visa bulletin will move two months in a row and earlier if they will move three months in each month.

Mitch you are right, it is encouraging to look at these numbers and it keeps you afloat, so to speak. My PD is April 2007, so somtimes it can get your hopes up especially the way it has been described in your and jeanette's post ......hee hee hee. I think may be cases from Philippines are moving faster, coz I still have to hear from someone from my country telling me the same timeline around Jeanette and others.

LOL I got through after 45min, they didn't recieve my case yet.. Hmm..!!! how long does it take for them to recieve a case after its been approved? I was looking at other time lines and it shows after 2 to 5 days they recieve a case number.. Mine still hasn't even got there and its been 6 days

Hi Lebanese girl,

just wanted to share my input, it took us about 1 month to get our approved case to NVC, then 3 months at NVC, and 2 months to wait for interview date and then we have 2 weeks of AP... It should not be too long for you, I hope!!

Keep trying to call NVC and try to get everything you can done before hand, download your forms and have hubby filled them out, have him send them to you so when you get the ok, you can just send it in, that's cuts down on the process a lot!!
