Even me to read so many people on VJ got log in to the account fails around their case complete..so weird..i just came bk from wrk..i will call them tomo and will make sure..

what about you..when did your log in failed? i mean after your case got completed accordin to AVR msg??

as for me when i found out that my case was completed, when i tried to log in - still i can log in a several times even weeks but when i asked around why they said that it doesn't matter, what matter most is you have your case completed. in fact i just tried logging in last week and it just turned to log in failed.. kinda weird but again as long as you have your case completed that's all that matters! good luck!

December 17, 2009 - hubby received his letter from NVC[/font]

April 13, 2010 - received DS-3032 via email

April 19, 2010 - sent back DS-3032 to NVC thru DHL (did not email a copy)

April 23, 2010 - DS3032 was received per operator and reviewed, received IV and AOS bill thru mail.

April 29, 2010 - paid AOS ($70) fee bill

April 30, 2010 - paid IV fee bill ($400.00 each beneficiary)

May 01, 2010 - AOS shows "PAID" in the system, printed cover sheet.

May 05, 2010 - iv bill shows "PAID"

I30 sent 01/2010 (can't remember the exact date)

NOA1 January 29,2010

NOA2 February 26,2010 ( yes it was that fast, still Thanking God for that)

Transferred to NVC

March 5,2010, i received my case # and no visa was available

June 4,2010 received AOS bill via email and Paid the same night

June 4,2010 received Visa Application Processing bill Via email and paid the same night

July 15,2010 mailed the AOS form and documents

August 27,2010 mailed DS-230 form and documents

September 30th I thought my case complete but received an RFE later on, still in the process

Can someone help me out please kinda confused... After your i130 is approved what happens next?

you will receive the choice of agent (ds3032)... then u will be given or assigned a case number, then they will ask you to pay the i864 fee (follow instructions after payment), then they will ask you to pay the iv fee (follow instructions after payment), wait for any other request if none then case complete!

I gotta tax question. If spouse is outside US and donot have ITIN number, how we have to file?

MARRIED FILING SEPARATELY? OR MARRIED FILING JOINTLY?

IS IT NECCESSARY TO FILL W7 FORM?

DONOT DISCARD ITS VERY IMPORTANT TOPIC when they ask for tax transcripts.

I HEARD THEY MIGHT ASK FOR TAX TRANSCRIPTS AND OTHER RELATED THINGS.

matthew, NVC requests tax transcripts as evidence that the petitioner is financially capable of sponsoring the beneficiary. But nevertheless, filing jointly can serve as additonal eveidence at the visa interview.

If you want to file as "Married filing jointy" then you will have to get an ITIN for your foreign spouse. Otherwise you would have to file as "Single".

I think if you can, its always better to get an ITIN and file as married, since that will resuce your tax obligation.

lebanese girl, i waited for 7months til my DS3032/choice of agent....i was approved june 09, see my timeline...

Damn so it's another 7months for this whole process to finish plus waiting for an appointment so basically from this day until 8-9 months I have to wait.. Is that about correct..? Ugh this is crazy, I'm here thinking that you have to wait 2 to 3 months and boom my husband will be here..

the next thing would be your case# to be generated by NVC... and your beneficiary will be receiving a letter from nvc too... i suggest to check some of our friends' timelines to get a better idea about it... you can check SAMKULE's or YNA's or whoever that already completed their cases and that will guide you thru....
