whats the next step after the I130 application has been approved. A friend of mine applying for his wife, he's on a green card.

last message he got was back in November 2010

On Nov 15,2010, we mailed you a noticed that we have approved this I130 immigran petition for Relative, fiance, or Oprhan. Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you received the notice, call customer service at 1800-375-5282

I've been looking at a couple of timelines, so what the next step

Does that mean the application is now with NVC?

what is the DC3032 i see on some of the profile, is he suppose to receive that from NVC and send it back, so far nothing just the NOA?

hi

he is approved by USCIS.

they still have the application.

tell your friend to keep visiting www.travel.state.gov and before his priority date (assuming he knows what that is) becomes current, he will start reciving paperwork from NVC. actually the first thing he'll get is DS3032, ask him to call NVC and give his and his spouses' email address, its faster that way and then he'll get everything thru email and saves a lot of time/money.

good luck

I went to the travel website,

How and where on the travel website can we find the Priority date?

Is it based on the Aproval date of the I-130 or is it based on the country you are applying for? if so can you guide me with the link from the travel site.

You will not find your priority date on the website... however you will find a date that is AFTER your priority date and will be noted as the "cut off date" It is NOT based on the approval date or many will be waiting for ever but it is based on the date the application was received by USCIS. The cut off date for the oversubscribed countries like Mexico have created their own cut off dates because there are so many applicants there.

to find it you will go to -

1. http://travel.state.gov/

2. Visas (on top)

3. Visa Bulletin (on left)

4. select any one of the visa bulletin (the most recent one will be at the TOP).

see the example of the April 2011 Visa Bulletin at the link below

http://www.travel.state.gov/visa/bulletin/bulletin_5368.html Mexico's current cut off date is July 1, 2006 ... this mens IF your application was filed AFTER that date then you have to wait until the cut off date PASSED your priority date for a visa to be issued.

Hello everyone!

It's been a long time since I actually went to read threads here. Probably because my wife and I never really felt the difficulty of being apart not until 5 months ago. My wife is an LPR and we have been technically living in together since she was studying here for college and post grad degree here. She went to the states last October and started working. Now we started to feel the challenge of Long Distance Relationship. Although with the help of instant messaging bbm ym and skype we are almost in touch 24/7.

I just wish that my priority date will become current again.

Oh and we are yet to submit our I-864 and DS-230 - can my wife send those all together? And will the interview date also be delayed since we have not submitted these 2 once priority date becomes current?

All.. Anyone who knows the answer to this. My spouse's I-130 under F2A ( spouse of LPR) has been approved.

Once approved will NVC allow DS-3032 to be sent in or will that also have to wait until Visa number becomes available. I understand that we can not pay IV fees and AOS fees until the dates become current. Does that apply for DS-3032 and assigning case number at NVC?

Anyone here in the F2A whith October 2010 NOA1 and got the approvals ?
