i think 2006 f2a every1 got there firts step at nvc and maybe within months or 2 months later u will recieve further notice...this is just wishing u best of luck...just keep praying...

My PD is also Sept 27, 2010 but I did not receive any notification about AOS bill, is it because I am adjusting status in the U.S? Did your sister receive paper mail notifying about this AOS fee bill or an e-mail? I am surprised to hear people with my PD are getting this notification while I am not.

Not sure about your case. My sis is a GC holder and she is filling for her husband who is in Lagos. She received the packet via email. I was surprise cos she didnt call NVC to give them both email addresses. They got the info from the G1145 form.

NOA #1: Aug 6, 2007 NOA #2: Oct. 29, 2009 - APPROVED

--NVC--December 12, 2009 - Case# generated from NVC

December 17, 2009 - hubby received his letter from NVC[/font]

April 13, 2010 - received DS-3032 via email

April 19, 2010 - sent back DS-3032 to NVC thru DHL (did not email a copy)

April 23, 2010 - DS3032 was received per operator and reviewed, received IV and AOS bill thru mail.

April 29, 2010 - paid AOS ($70) fee bill

April 30, 2010 - paid IV fee bill ($400.00 each beneficiary)

May 01, 2010 - AOS shows "PAID" in the system, printed cover sheet.

May 05, 2010 - iv bill shows "PAID"

June 24, 2010 - sent AOS via USPS/certified and prioritized

July 14, 2010 - received RFE. nvc is requesting again for Tax Transcript 2009

Sept 14, 2010 - Mailed RFE documents via usps

Sept 22, 2010 - mailed complete DS-230 via DHL

Oct 14, 2010 - received RFE about beneficiary's police clearances

Nov. 30, 2010 - sent corrected DS-230 with correct years of residency via USPS

Dec. 21, 2010 - CASE COMPLETED!!!

I30 sent 01/2010 (can't remember the exact date)

NOA1 January 29,2010

NOA2 February 26,2010 ( yes it was that fast, still Thanking God for that)

Transferred to NVC

March 5,2010, i received my case # and no visa was available

June 4,2010 received AOS bill via email and Paid the same night

June 4,2010 received Visa Application Processing bill Via email and paid the same night

July 15,2010 mailed the AOS form and documents

August 27,2010 mailed DS-230 form and documents

September 30th I thought my case complete but received an RFE later on, still in the process

Well, when your case was approved at the time your PD was current, thats why NVC computer generated AOS fee bill. NVC only process for the month of current visa bulletin.

Also we would greatly appreciated if you add your timeline.

Is it. I hope then next step is to pay immigrant visa fee & relevant docs. That will be cool and would keep hopes high..

nothing yet lynn12....i will be calling NVC again 3rd week of february coz that what they are advicing me to do.... so i still have 4 more days to hear another judgement.... either a good one or another news to wait...

Guys this is really a bad news :( ... F2A category is affected with the retrogression, January 2011 visa bulletin is out and it is January 2008, i'm afraid that this will affect our case :unsure: , our PD is Sept. 2008 and our case completed last October 22, we are on our 7th week of waiting for our interview appointment...

Who will approve it..?

USCIS has to approve your petition first and then it will be forwarded to NVC for them to approved your case and complete it.

hi ricardo, pd is apr2008, i was petitioned by my husband under f2a catgeory, i feel blessed and lucky enough that they granted me a visa last December 2010 before visa bulletin retrogressed to jan2008 and now to jan2007. i've went through this stage before, i really feel the pain of all those who are waiting, keep the faith guys. Continue trusting the Lord. :thumbs:
