i think 2006 f2a every1 got there firts step at nvc and maybe within months or 2 months later u will recieve further notice...this is just wishing u best of luck...just keep praying...

i have a question, i recently got married. i'm a greencard holder and will be eligible for naturalization this september. will it help if i file the petition now???

does the retrogression also affect other processes (NOA1, NOA2, etc.) or will this mainly just affect the timeline in getting an interview schedule?

You can apply for I-130 and let it process untill you got citizenship, then upgrade your application by sending your Naturalization certifacte to the NVC level and you wont have wait for the visa number. NVC will schedule your interview date after completed your case!!

NOA #1: Aug 6, 2007 NOA #2: Oct. 29, 2009 - APPROVED

--NVC--December 12, 2009 - Case# generated from NVC

December 17, 2009 - hubby received his letter from NVC[/font]

April 13, 2010 - received DS-3032 via email

April 19, 2010 - sent back DS-3032 to NVC thru DHL (did not email a copy)

April 23, 2010 - DS3032 was received per operator and reviewed, received IV and AOS bill thru mail.

April 29, 2010 - paid AOS ($70) fee bill

April 30, 2010 - paid IV fee bill ($400.00 each beneficiary)

May 01, 2010 - AOS shows "PAID" in the system, printed cover sheet.

May 05, 2010 - iv bill shows "PAID"

June 24, 2010 - sent AOS via USPS/certified and prioritized

July 14, 2010 - received RFE. nvc is requesting again for Tax Transcript 2009

Sept 14, 2010 - Mailed RFE documents via usps

Sept 22, 2010 - mailed complete DS-230 via DHL

Oct 14, 2010 - received RFE about beneficiary's police clearances

Mitch, im glad as well that your case was completed. Don't be bothered with the retrogession issue, you will not be affected. Some point in time you will have your Sched either late January or February. MAybe advise hubby and son to take the medical in advance.

Its been awhile that I have been in here.. just thought to dropby and say hello to all and wishing us all goodluck esp on this New Year 2011...

Mitch, really glad to hear ur case completed now, its gonna be soon and u will be reunited with ur loved ones..just hang on...

Am totally fine here just feeling the normal changes when ur pregnant.. yes I am...about 12 weeks now.. we are so happy on this wonderful gift from God..

Okay!!! Sure na. Kompare na gyud mi ani ni Raymon.I told you soo... Made in the US gyud kaayo right after visajourney era. Makaadto gyud ko diha texas inig christening. Hahahhaha.... How about u raymon???? Is it in the making too? My case was completed decemcer... I hope we`ll have it by early feB....

Family is doing great, still adjusting but at least they are getting used to the wintry weather. Dallas was snowing 2 weeks so my kid was just loving it.

I was calling for the whole day yesterday and i cant get through... and now that im trying to call them again, it says they are close due to the bad weather.. then again, im gonna call them again tomorrow... this thrill is soooo bad that i cant sleep well.... having all the "what ifs" in my head...

If you want to know your interview date, you may try to call DOS at 202-663-1225, press 1 then 0.

DOS will give you faster update than NVC.

I hope this will help you little bit.
