hi sgam, when is your pd and what's your case stat? if case completed already, when was it?... is it possible to have an advance medical? coz they will look for the appt. letter.

Hi Criselle... my PD is Sept. 2008 and my case completed last Oct. 22... I called St. Lukes office yesterday, and they told me that it's up to me if i want to have an advance medical exam. Many of our friends here took an advance medical exam and the result is valid for 6 months.

I'm on my 4th week of waiting for interview appointment... if i could not have it this month, i'm 100% sure that i could have it by next month and my sched. for interview will be on January... Just bring your passport, 2X2 pictures and of course the necessary fee and a letter from NVC like your NOA 2... i wish that everything will be ok during our medical...

its really possible to have an early medical appointment even if u dont have the appoinment letter in hand..u just have to tell them your case number and as long as the NVC have already scheduled u one and is still waiting for the letter to come..together with ur documents like passport and everything else..might be a little hassle coz they will look it up..

i see thanks but it say's in my nbi its valid 1 year and i check tha us embassy manila it say's valid for 1 year too... another idea's please...

Hi Clav, i know it's validity is 1 year... Did you receive your appointment letter from NVC? I'm expecting mine this 2nd week of December which is exactly 8 weeks of waiting... I'm done with my first day of medical, we will come back to St. Lukes on Friday noon for my med. exam result, immunization and for the result of my daughter's TST... hope that all the results will be ok...

I'm just kind a disgusted with one of the personnel who is checking the requirements for medical in St. Lukes... She's really rude telling me things that makes me feel as if i don't know what i'm doing.. She asked me if i really can't wait for my appointment letter and why am i insisting to undergo advance medical without having interview date... I just ask her back if am i the only one who have done advance medical... and got no answer from her...

hi sgam, you are right,my husband told me that one of the female receptionist there is rude.she did the same thing to my husband.he was there yesterday (wednesday),probably same as yours.by the way did you get your interview schedule yet?because that rude lady told my husband that she cannot have the medical without the interview date yet. and something about the photos...but what he had is the 2x2 which is written in their requirement.

did you also undergo with medical without an interview schedule yet?

Hi HappyHeart Are you saying that they didn't let your husband have his medical? My husband went to St. Luke's and did his medicals on September, and that was even before his case was completed at NVC. He only brought with him a copy of the paid IV bill with the MNL case # and the other requirements.

I-130

12/22/09: I-130 receipt date (Sent by lawyer to CSC)

8/20:10: Approved/NOA2

9/03/10: NVC # generated, gave e-mail adds

9/08/10: Received IV/AOS fee bill

9/09/10: Paid AOS/IV

9/13/10: Mailed completed AOS, enetered into the system on 9/14

9/19/10: Mailed completed DS-230, entered into the system on 9/22

10/13/10: CASE COMPLETE!!!

04/06/11: Case upgraded from F2A to CR-1

05/03/11: Final review completed

05/17/11: Interview date scheduled!
