Hang in there Mitch, Just go through the papers you sent, may be you missed something. Call NVC and find out exactly what they want. The NVC agent actually knows which part of the form is filled wrong or missing etc and will be able to clear your confusion. Its just a roadblock. As far as I know, most of here have gotten these silly RFEs and in the end everything was okay. Good luck and keep at it. Keep us posted.

NVC's reply to my request to expedite our case.

Guys, what do you think this letter mean?

Dear Sir/Madam:

Your inquiry has been received at the National Visa Center (NVC). The

NVC has completed its processing of the visa petition you mentioned in

your letter and has forwarded the petition to the assigned US

Embassy/Consulate General for further processing.

Please be advised that further forms and/or fees may still be requested

by the US Embassy/Consulate to complete the processing of this case. Any

further inquiries should be directed to the assigned US Embassy or

Consulate General.

so much descripancy for the whole entire process.... cant breathe anymore!

Sorry to hear that Mitch, I understand how you feel right now. :(

Just lift up everything to God and I know soon that your case will be completed.

shall i say that ive been lifting up everything to GOD.... and speechless with all that i went through.

im sorry to hear that as well. it must be upsetting to have encountered yet another setback. hopefully, things will work out for you soon.

hi Perriteyl, more than upsetting.. i told me husband to figure it out by himself first on how to handle another thing with NVC. i might lose my balance and will just call it off with the visa process and just go home and live in the Philippines happily ever afte.

you are damn right I am here... well just a guess may be your husband forgot to put that certificate in the package of something, but you'll have to get the exact details from NVC only, so keep trying.

We had missed a signature in our i-864 :bonk:, (can you imagine) and that created a delay of approximately a month and a half to the whole process (also lots of arugments and being lazy in sending the papers back) and in the end everything is ok, so thats what it is for you too, as soon as you send those papers back, you'll be on on your way forward. Looking forward to hearing an update from you soon.

>can they just print the i-864 form fr there computer and sent it to me or they shld get it fr the embassy there.

>can i just scan and print here his tax return and w2 and also the proof of status in the US...

Hi there, I cannot give answer to all your questions, but based on my friends case who used co sponsorship when they filed Affidavit of support, they will count all persons living on the same house. If the Mom of your co sponsors does not live on the same house, don't include her on the head count.

Not sure if that is right, any other answer?

Hi everyone... it's been a while since the last time i posted something in this forum... but then i always check and update myself with what is going on with you guys, it's me ALIT i just lost my info about my previous account that's why i register again. It seems that most of our friends here are now in the US and finally reunited with their loved ones and i'm really happy for them..

@Mitch-- i know how u feel coz me too got an RFE with our AOS, and we even have some problems about preparing all our documents for DS-230. It's really frustrating but we need to hold on and just lift all up to HIM.. Just hold on Mitch...

@Clav,Mrs. C and Maui--- have you received your interview appointment?

NVC received all our documents last Oct. 5 and they told us that they are for review. My hubby called the NVC last Oct. 26 and the operator told him that our case is complete as of Oct. 22... We are just so happy that our case is finally complete after the RFE and problems about our civil documents...

For us to gain enough patience we need to lift all up to HIM most specially with the 2008 to 2010 filers... just always bear in your mind and be thankful that we are so blessed that we don't need to wait for 5 years anymore... God bless us all...
