hi everyone, i just heard from P!lya and she says hi to everyone here in VJ. her whole family is just to busy for the past month of their stay here in

california and dont even have much time to be online! and was telling me that she'll be going to DMV today to take her written exam for driving....

i mentioned to her about my approval and she was saying that----> "that means to say,you'll be reunited with your husband in a year." i'll talk to her maybe tonight and ill ask her to share the details in this thread for us to have an idea about things...

Good to hear tha Pilya is getting settled in.

And its even more exciting to hear she saying that after the approval from USCIS, it'll take 1 year only...lets hope thats the case of all of use who've gotten approved. I was wondering today of asking anyone in here, how long is the wait after your PD becomes current and you start getting documents from NVC, DS forms, I864, bill etc. Whats you PD Mitch.?

hi twulf, maybe my timeline can help you.. as of now, my problem is I wanna know how long should I wait after we sent all the form to NVC til the Appointment letter arrived ..

Thanks for the suggestion, your timeline does help a bit. (i see there is about a 4 month period between NVC case# letter and DS3032). Regarding your question, I guess there's nothing you can do but wait, i mean if your file is in the embassy, its the embassy's turn to respond now, may be you can call/write to your local embassy, see if they respond.

Also you'll find a link in the national visa center forum in VJ, where you can track if your application has been sent to your embassy, check it out.

Like most of you, I petitioned for my wife under F2A visa category and her PD is Mar 23, 2006. We are just a few months behind Jim&Michelle and that's why I am closely keeping an eye on their timeline.

It's been tough. We've been waiting 3 years and 7 months, and we are beginning to see the light at the end of the tunnel.

So far we are yet to recieve the DS_3032 or other notices from the NVC. I called NVC yesterday and from the automated response found that my wife should be receiving a Notice within 6 to 8 weeks. I hope it is sooner. I expect it to be sooner considering how fast visa numbers are becoming available lately in the F2A category.

Right now Visa Bulletin = Nov 1 2005, which is very good.

Jim&Michelle please keep updating us about your case. My guess is that you should be getting an Interview notice before the middle of December.

I have got a mail from uscis last week asking me to fill my biographic info thru the G325 form which my wife received in newyork,as i am in bombay she is sending those papers to me now,if i understand correctly they want me to provide my address and work details of last 5 years in the form of G325 ,just wanted to know whether ull also had received something similar to this? and do the dates of last 5 years have to be exact dates?

Just wanted to share something that i got from sis p!lya... during her interview, she was asked to provide NBI clearance with her a.k.a name on it... so just a thought that if we have AKA in our names, i believe it would be best to get a clearance with that too.. for us not to be delayed. well, she wasnt denied but they just asked her to bring that additional documents to them... which she did after 5days.. and all they told her was to just have to wait for air21 to deliever her visa, 1 week after that she got a text saying that her documents are ready to be picked up... well, something cool about her process was, she was approved dated OCT. 14 and her flight of coming to the US was OCT. 14... so now i see why she was trying to say that "you'll have 1 more year to finish all the process after the approval"

I am in a spot of bother after my wife filed my I130 IN JULY 06,finally after a long wait for 3 years & 4 months,uscis finally asked me to send our Biographic info in da way of filling up the G325 form for me n my wife,I check the I130 form which my wife had filled up for me and i realised that my name is incorrectlymentioned in there(Originally the way it is --FAMILY NAME,FIRST NAME & MIDDLE NAME) however i realised that it written incorrectly my first name was written as my family name and middle was as my first name.Though my full name is still there however,I am really scared to know if this issue is going to have any impact on my longterm process,Please guys help me!what shud i do,or shud i leave it the way it is.

Replies would be really really appreciated,as i have a deadline of 7dec,before that i need to fill up the G325 AND SEND ITTO THEM.Also in the g325 shud i write my name the way it was wrongly written in the I130 or the original way it should have been?

NBI stands for National Bureau of Investigation here in the Philippines instead of Police Certificate.. I attached NBI Clearance for my Ds320.. =)

Looking at the Dec 2010 Visa Bulettin,the F2A is now 1 Nov 2005.

If I filed my I-130 in Mar 2008 and it is likely that the priority date will

be assigned for the same year,does it mean that F2A wait time has gotten

shorter?

i agree! they made it a little faster... i wanted to thank to everyone (should i include Pres. Obama in the list?) that made this expedition a lil bit faster.i wasnt expecting my approval not till end of next year....

im just fine... trying to live life one day at a time... especially in this holiday season, it would be different if i have my family as one but at least i have my son and the rest of my family to celebrate it with.

HI Guys! I got new update! I am so HAPPY I just called NVC long distance and I got this message from AVR

"... your Case was completed on ... Please allow 8 weeks for further instructions..." OMG!.. Im trying to call my hubby now to tell him the good news!.. They didn't ask for RFE yuhoooooo!!!... now, I need to gather all proof for bonafide marriage.. whew!..
