Hi pretty2009

I am from India too. My case was filed in April 2007 in California Service Center and I got my approval in August 2009 and my case is now at NVC. So I guess it might help calling the Vermont Center to find out more, I guess they are moving slow compared to others. Good luck. I hope you hear something soon.

Thank you..Nice to meet you.

Today i called them, they said my case is in processing..i will get a letter within 60days...if i dint get anything, they said call them after 60days..Do you knw whatz the next procedure?

Thank you..

God bless!!

I believe that Vermont Center is transferring everything I-130s to Texas Service Center. my friend got the same notification for her I-130 through the USC brother.

Hi All,

I am new to this thread. I am an LPR married since Feb 2007. I filed I-130 for my wife in June 2007 and it got approved in Aug 2009. Case is at NVC waiting for the visa to be current. I am in the process of applying for my citizenship and have my citizenship interview on 18th Nov. I plan to upgrade my wifes petition once i am a citizen. After all is said and done, it will be 3 years and few months before I will be reunited with my wife. Its been a very difficult journey.

Glad to find you folks here and good luck to all.

Hi, well I guess there is nothing much you can do but wait, if they've told you that you'll get a letter in 60 days, then I suggest you do that. Unfortuantely, for all of us its just a waiting game.

Once your case is approved by the USCIS, you'll hear from them and your beneficiary will get a letter informing him/her that their case is at the NVC and they have to WAIT further for a visa to become available and it goes from there. But in the meantime, if the petitiioner gets citizenship, they can inform USCIS and upgrade their case, putting the beneficiary in a different category and the things move much faster from there as compared to LPRs.

Hi Guys

Thank God

Today i got the mail that saying my case is approved and itz moved to NVC.So do u guys knw what is the next procedure?

Praying for all..

God bless!!

And its even more exciting to hear she saying that after the approval from USCIS, it'll take 1 year only...lets hope thats the case of all of use who've gotten approved. I was wondering today of asking anyone in here, how long is the wait after your PD becomes current and you start getting documents from NVC, DS forms, I864, bill etc. Whats you PD Mitch.?

hi twulf, maybe my timeline can help you.. as of now, my problem is I wanna know how long should I wait after we sent all the form to NVC til the Appointment letter arrived ..
