I guess you've gotten approval from USCIS, it goes no NVC now and you get a NVC case number and wait for the PD to be current.

Hey Mitch, congrats on ur approval. I know that sweet feeling of knowing that ur file was not completely being stashed aside and that it was recentlt touched.

Congrats again, and yes all u need do now is wait for NVC to post a mail to the beneficiary explaining that they got ur case off USCIS and notifying u of ur Case number and Priority Date.

After then u have to wait for further instructions but u (ur hubby - beneficiary) can go ahead and send them an email naming u as his Choice of Agent. See the NVC shortcut link in VJ to see how to properly do that. U will get an acknowlegement back from them.

I hope I get something soon too, you guys are keeping my hopes up. My I-130 application was transferred From Vermont Center to the Texas Center to be processed. Has anyone seen this before? How long can it take? Here is what it said online case update.

"On November 5, 2009, we transferred this I130 IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN to our TEXAS SERVICE CENTER location for processing because they now have jurisdiction over the case. We sent you a notice of this transfer. Please follow any instructions on this notice. You will be notified by mail when a decision is made, or if the office needs something from you. "

which country is your hubby from???.... normally it will range from 4-5 years.....check your case status once in a while... maybe your case is on the way... i filed mine in aug 2007 here in CSCenter and i just got my approval last week and my hubby is in the Phillipines so, its a longer wait but yours is way back in 2006.. try checking

Visa bulletin Dec. 2009 = Nov 1 2005 our PD is Dec 8, 2005 ... one more month to go.. yesterday I sent our DS230.. hope no more RFE..

Hi, well I guess there is nothing much you can do but wait, if they've told you that you'll get a letter in 60 days, then I suggest you do that. Unfortuantely, for all of us its just a waiting game.

Once your case is approved by the USCIS, you'll hear from them and your beneficiary will get a letter informing him/her that their case is at the NVC and they have to WAIT further for a visa to become available and it goes from there. But in the meantime, if the petitiioner gets citizenship, they can inform USCIS and upgrade their case, putting the beneficiary in a different category and the things move much faster from there as compared to LPRs.

im just wondering-- is your hubby a US citizen??? coz i was reading your timeline and you had your first case denied and your second case was just a matter of 3months and you got your approval already... just wondering...
