It usually takes 1 to 2 weeks before NVC enters the form I-864 into their system. Try calling them after 2 weeks to see if they already entered your Affidavit of Support in their system.

a blessed day to all of us... my iv processing fee bill shows on process what papers do i need to expect to come sir and maa'm? hope for your reply... tanx and god bless us all...

As soon as the IV fee bill status has changed to "PAID", you can now print the barcoded cover sheet and download and fill out the form DS-230, Application for immigrant visa and alien registration parts 1 & 2. For more information regarding this matter please log on to http://travel.state.gov/visa/immigrants/info/info_3190.html.

Hope this helps

Hey Mitch, they'll not send you any notice (and you better hope not).If everything is fine with you I864, they'll just wait for the DS230 and if they don't receive the DS230 after I864 has been entered into the system, then they'll send you an checklist response letter/RFE throug email/regular mail (so don't panic) which basically informs you that they are waiting for the DS230 before they complete your case. and then there is more waiting.. Good luck.. Keep at it.

Log-in at the Department of State online payment, click select on IV service, and then click on "print document cover sheet" located at the bottom.

i see, i see... but today will be my lastday here at work and will be starting to my new job next week... i gave them my email here at work which i wont have any access to it after today... but i called NVC and i gave them a alternate email add... would NVC normally send notice to both emails? i just want to make sure that i will rcvd any notice in the alternate email add that i gave.

but if they will send a regular mail for my checklist that will be great.. and i know of course i can always call if i dont rcvd any from email.... thanks twulf!

im giving 3 more months of waiting after case complete....till interview.

Mitch, If they have your email address on record, they'll send emails only. You can call and confirm if they'll also send snail mail. I hope you are right about 3 months after case complete and I pray its sooner than later.

Chakadoll when's your interview.
