the medical process is quite okay..although it scares me that a lot of people had to go through sputum test..and i'm so thankful that i'm not one of those...

with regards to your son's immunization record..i think the doctors will figure that out..and i'm sure naman na they won't do anything that can harm him...

just relax...don't worry you and your son will be fine..btw,when is your interview?

god bless us all

Just a heads up.. Even if you're married, bring a copy of a Certificate of No Marriage (CENOMAR) on your interview.

to all married???? why certificate of no marriage? huh?

CENOMAR - is certifying that you never got married. right?

when you get cenomar and you are already married..it will be written there..maybe the USEM wants to make sure that you're only married to one person (which is the petitioner)..

just a guess..

That is right odne! They want to make sure how many times who you were married. So if you were married more than once, just show them that the prior marriages was annulled already

Mitch, as an attachement to your I-864, you may also want to send them a certificate of employment and paystubs for 6 months. This helps the reviewer in determining that the petitioner is "domiciled" in the States. I hope this helps. Good Luck!

Nope, it is not part of the civil documents that is required for you to submit at NVC, but it was asked from me by the pre-screener at the time of my interview. Just to be prepared for any circumstances that may arise. Good luck!

Yes, I think you need to renew your passport and make sure to use your husband's surname.

You can do that as early as now, it will take a long time to renew passport now

Q...

in sending DS 230 - birth certificate written in other language (not english) we need to translate it and have notarized by public attorney, right?

My question is we have it notarized last year, is NVC going to accept it? or do we need to get new copy of the birth certificate translation and ask attorney to notarize it again?

Mitch,

did u enclosed the form 1040 sa income tax return? i think other than the W2 form.. the 1040 will be the one that they need to see.. and dont forget ur supporting docs for that... like the pay stubs by 6.. letter of employment or certificate, I specifically ask my employer to state in the certification my hourly rate, my estimated annual income and that am currently employed.. thats all that I sent them... goodluck hopefully they will be ok with ur I-864.. to make sure, pls call the NVC and speak with an operator to discuss ur lacking documents..

my current passport bears my maiden name. is it necessary that I renew my passport to change it using my husband's name? thanks

its better if u have it change to ur husband's name.. ASAP..
