Hello Guys,

Need assistance URGENTLY,my LPR wife in NY is going to be sending the I864 (Affidavit of Support form) to NVC,as she is required to attach the W2 forms for last 3 years along with I864.....here is the issue now.....while filing for tax in the past,by error she wrote her Status as SINGLE instead of being MARRIED in the form,NOW my Question is WILL THAT BE A PROBLEM WHEN SHE SENDS THE ATTCHED LAST 3 YEARS W2s with the I864???? i am really confused and scared,Suggestions are needed about this issue then how can it be rectified......my case is already approved and i have already paid the $70 & $400 fee.

Thanx

NVC does not look at the marital status in w2, they just look at $$$ in the W2 forms to verify that the sponsor is financially sound to support the beneficiary(s). My status was listed as Single in W2, but still NVC accepted it without raising any issues.

wow, that was fast. Good for you.

What service center approved your petition?

I filed my petition last feb 12, 2010 and USCIS (CSC) still doesnt approve it.

Since F2A priority date are now moving fast, I'm worried that it might become current while my petition still sits in USCIS office.

goodluck to you.

Glieswayz, I cant believe! APRIL 2010 APPROVED?? ,even a US citizen spouse will take more time than that. If you got a case number the next bulletin F2A will be letter C!!!. "Current":dance::dance: Its been very difficult to judge how these guys are working. From past experiences, service centers were always ahead of one year than NVC but now its been reversed. But csc has moved 6 months ahead this month and they are approching their national goals of 5 months. I think we cant rely on service center updates on the date they publish

HELLO.. Friends Any predictions for july 2010 bulletin? Guess all are busy collecting documents.

Goodluck. Please do reply. :help:

Hi everyone!!!

My husband already paid the $70.00 fee.

Do he need to download the i-864 form and fill it up then send it to NVC?

or he will receive the form thru snail mail?

after we choose the Choice Of Agent... what is the next step?

AOS is the next step after the choice of agent; And as soon payment status shows "PAID"

go the link provided and download the form(I-864). Just make sure to attached the bar coded

sheet when sending that to NVC. After NVC have received and reviewed the I-864, they will email

you pay the IV Fee Bill

Kareen,

That happen to me as well when i got a checklist note showing two conflicting addresses, but per advise

from NVC operator i send my DS-230 to the address on the bar coded sheet that i printed from the

Immigrant Visa Invoice Payment Center. Since you since you already send it, i think that would be OK,

just make follow a week after just to make sure thety received your docs.
