Thank's ate for the info, we will do that. We'll wait for her name to be included in the petition and also wait for the fees to be paid before submitting our papers. Congratulations on your visa, all your hardwork, patience and prayers we're answered!

i have a question ate, kelangan bang 2 copy ng I-864 ung papadala namin kase dalawa kami ng daughter ko? Or pwede pa photocopy nalang ung orig then send it at the same time? thanks ate and congrats again!

you're welcome kareen, actually in our case since ako yung principal na applicant and two dependents (in which me and the children are in one petition lang) so we only submitted one i-864 and i believe you and your kids are peititoned in one application right? but if your husband petitioned them in a different paper then you will need to send a separate i-864. but as far as i know if the peititoner is lpr then the dependents will be in one petition paper as well... good luck!

Hi ate yna! Im due 1st week of October, im on my way to my 5th month now. I really dont know yet what to do, if the papers will go on smoothly and fast then maybe we can be with hubby before i give birth. We're still not sure about everything yet, and i dont know if i will be covered with hubby's medical insurance. As we all know, being hospitalized in the US will cost you a lot of $$$.hehe! So we still dont know yet...hay!

hi kareen sorry to say this but as far as i am concerned all i know if you are in your 5th month up i don't think if the airline will allow you to travel coz it is not good for the baby inside you maybe on 7th month but onwards i really doubt coz as far as i remembered they almost not allow me to travel on my 5th month when i had my pregnancy with my daughter.. but just please ask around just to be sure coz i don't want to give out wrong information and also if you are pregnant when you travel you need your ob's certification that it is ok to travel or with st.lukes' doctors as well... just please ask around...

and i would like to add since i saw it in your timeline that you sent your request for your daughter just this month more likely the approval will be this coming june and hoping that you will be done with all the sending of documents in july or august so you can have your interview by september...

To Yna,

Am just wondering.. did the NVC emailed you a letter when you completed ur case? If so, I have not receive any email re Case Completed. And its been our 3rd week since AVR mentioned that case complete so. Also spoke to an operator that said so. I haven't receive any news from the NVC after case completed, am just gonna wait for them to give me instructions, anyway they say I have to wait 8 weeks.

Thanks in advance.

no chaks they didn't email me that my case has completed i knew about it when i called the avr and spoke with the rep after that during my 8th week after case completed i have received my interview date via email. :) so no worries chaks you will receive your interview date on your 8th week after case completed... no pressure! :)

Hey Congrats Yna. Now get ready to answers more questions from all of us here since you've completed your journey.

good day! can anyone answer, what if your petition is about to become current and your paper is still with the USCIS instead of NVC?

As of now, California service center currently processing June 2007 while the priority date for F2A is now Jan 2008.

hi ekto, actually if you have a child please always bring his/her baby's book it is needed coz the doctors will base it in their records of their vaccines and from there they will let you know and they will know on what to give for your child's vaccine at st.lukes... as for adults it depends if you are a man or a woman as for me they gave me two shots mmr and tdp... but to some women they were given three shots the 3rd one is the hpv... so it really depends coz as for me they only put at my vaccine record under hpv "not required" which i don;t know why coz for me probably they will base it on your history coz they will ask you a lot of questions regarding your medical history. and as for me i have been into a lot of shots due to pregnancy etc... but actually i never had hpv shot before. and as all women know hpv is anti cervical cancer shot and most of them were requested to have that shot.

so in short ekto it really depends on your medical history whether what vaccines should be given to you...

as for jaybie, no matter what year the uscis is processing now like 2007 and the nvc has given visa availability for petitions made 2008 still you need to wait for your petition to be current and when you reach case completed there's no need for you to wait for visa availability like i did waiting for my 8th week for my visa availability or the visa bulletin to be current for my specific priority date... so agin in your case when you reached case complete there's no need for you to wait 8 weeks just to get your interview date coz for example your priority date is year 2008 of january so by the time you reached case complete then you will have your interview directly in your email. :)

you think we wont have a problem with that?

for me yes it will be no problem like i said as long as the petitioner's number will reflect in your sister's phone bill and i bet you guys have emails or chat logs right? it will be a big help as well together with money remittances. in fact ed, i was also in your shoes like worrying a lot of things regarding proof of evidences... but pls bear in mind that we are in F2 category unlike fiance visa that they will really dig in to you on what ever you got with your petitioner and i was like that before i out my self in a fiance visa's category, reading forums about what they brough during their interviews and consuls did the skinning on their interviews... so i was really like that thinking that consuls might be like that to me like what they did to k visas... so on my interview i brought like 7kilos of evidences hundreds and hundreds of pages of our chat logs way back 2000 and emails and etc... but they only asked for my money remittances, cards, emails, phone bills, and pictures... and indeed i have those things but i don't know what's got into my mind that i only gave them phone bills (globe and tmobile), money remittances, and pictures only while i have everything what she asked me and yet it turned out okay. and didn't ask for any other proofs... and not to mention i brought my school records my medical records my everything records and my husband's evefything records... hehehe

so as to you for me there will be no problem at all they didn't even ask for my husband's 2009 irs.

Yna, thanks for answering my question. im just so worried about that tuberculine skin test, might cause

additional delay. His suppose to have one this May..so just to be on the safe side might cancelled that

for the time being and have his vaccination after they are done with the medical.

I am the petitioner and my wife is the bene..can you pm me your number in Cebu.

Thanks Yna.

my number here in cebu landline or cp? or you want my international number coz i also have tmobile. and it's unlimited.

ANY ONE NKOW WHAT HAPPEN AFTER THE NVC RECIEVE THE BIRTHCERTIFICATE TO JOIN PETITION?

ed, after they approved your request more likely after a month you will receive an email it's an invoice number for you to pay the iv for the petition that you just requested to join in the petition (your dependent) or derivative beneficiary.

Hello everyone... ALit2 here, i just create a new account coz i forgot about my password with my first account. My priority date is Sept. 28, 2008, it was approved last January 6, 2010. And now the process is really getting faster and faster (we owe it to our loving God)... Yesterday my father-in-law made a call coz my husband is now here in the Philippines for his yearly vacation, we're kind a surprise and super happy when my father-in-law told us that my husband has a mail from NVC, it was the IV Bill i supposed coz he told my husband that he had to pay $70. After the long talk with him we decided to visit the Visa Bulletin website and we found out about the good news... The visa bulletin priority date for JUne is Jan. 2008 and ours is Sept. 2008.

My question is, since my husband is here in the Philippines until June 10 how can we pay for the $70? Is there any effect with the processing if he will pay the $70 when he got there in US on June 10? Can anyone tell us what is the best thing to do?

Thanks in advance and God Bless us all....

oh my alit if you want it in a rush then he can pay the affidavit of support fee using his credit card online there's an online payment for that and if you are going to process it by june when he gets home i am pretty sure visa bulletin will be up like 3-4months of move i guess coz nvc is very fast nowadays.. and again if you will do it on june then it's all up to you anyway it's just a matter of one month from now... so again you can pay it online and you can do the paper works when your hubby gets home...

tnx ate! i will tell hubby to do that. Now i have another worry, hubby's work will be closing in August. Im praying that sana by that time we're already finished with the processing but i doubt it. HAy lots of things in my mind now. nakakastress...

kareen, i guess it would be better for your hubby to get another job so by the time his work will close he has a new job already coz nvc will ask for cert of employment as proof that your hubby can support or or he can get a joint sponsor if in case he can't get a job after his work will close but let's pray before everything you guys can send all the requirements to nvc so there wil be no problem at all.

HELLO EVERYONE!!!

My PD is July 2008, I want to ask again what we have to do now...

do I need to ready my documents? or just wait?

what will I do to register my 3 kids in my petition???

what documents will I send? where will i send it?

in another site, they said that if I will pass my ds230,

i just have to include my children birth certificates in

form ds230.... is that right?

just send a request that you want to join your children together with the principal beneficiary, send a scanned copy of noa2, and scanned copy of each of your children's birth certificate. that's what i did to my daughter when i requested the nvc to make my daughter a derivative beneficiary.

Hi Jeanette... My husband is now on his vacation here in the Philippines, he will be here til June 10. My father-in-law who is in the US right now called and told us that my husband has a letter from NVC and it's the DS-3032 and I-864 bill. I've red in your timeline that you paid your I-864 and IV Bill Online. and your sent the DS-3032 via email and mail. Can i seek a help from you? How can we pay the I-864 bill online and sent the DS-3032 thru mail? what is the website u used to pay the bill online and where will i sent the DS-3032 if i may wish to sent it via email...

Anyone please help me....

Thanks in advance and God Bless...

actually alit the instruction and the link is in the letter that your father in law got and if you have updated nvc your email then you will also receive it in your email... but if none call nvc and update your email with them in that case it would be better for nvc to contact you whenever they will send you another letter or fees for you to pay.

i dont know sis... i dont even want to visit VJ for now... im all tired and will have an appointment to talk to an immigration lawyer tomorrow... ill be handling all the paperworks to him and he'll take care of all the process... im already drained out and almost this close to just have my husband over.... have to leave the stepson behind and hell just petition him when he's here... if its just going to be my hubby, he could be here by august.... i paid everything, but cant submit AOS because of the passport photocopies....

it might take me time to come back here... im just not into all the process anymore.... have to hibernate first and save some energy to live one day at a time.

just send a request that you want to join your children together with the principal beneficiary, send a scanned copy of noa2, and scanned copy of each of your children's birth certificate. that's what i did to my daughter when i requested the nvc to make my daughter a derivative beneficiary.

Thanks sis for you answer...

You said that I have to scanned it, so I will send it thru email???

I would like to ask you again another question... :)

We have 3 kids, They were all using MY surname because we are not yet married that time when I conceived,

so in FEB 2007his petition was granted and he went is USA,

then OCT 2007 he took a vacation and we got married.

In FEB 2009 we both go to the registrar office in Caloocan Municipality to change the

surname of my 2 kids (eldest and youngest) they were born in Caloocan... it went smoothly,

in just 1 week their surname is in their father.

Then after that we went in Municipality of Manila to arrange the birth certificate of my 2nd son,

there are more documents that are needed in Manila, and we have no time because my husband got only

1 week left in his 1month vacation... so my 2nd child is still using my surname.

FYI his birth certificate has an acknowledgment from his dad at the back.

My eldest and youngest is now using their father's surname

while my 2nd is still using mine.

SO HERE'S MY QUESTION (sorry for my long story, I just want it to be clear)

Can we add my 2nd child as a derivative beneficiary even though he still

using my surname. I thought it will not affect our processing because we are legally married,

can we just change his surname in US?

My brother in law went in embassy,

one of the employee there told him that the child should be using his dad's surname

before petitioning him... BUT i thought it's not true because many of his relative went in

US while they are using their mother's surname.

WHAT IS THE BEST WAY THAT I SHOULD DO?

CAN I EMAIL THE NVC AND ASK THEM?

sorry for my longgggggg message...

pls help me out...

thanks in advance with all my heart (L)
