Hi Everyone! I'm new member in this forum, but i started as a follower since late last year. I find this forum interesting and comforting simply because i know what all you guys feel about this journey. I'm a wife of LPR, my hubby filed the petition Sept of 2008, early this year (January 6 to be exact) we recieved the approval with a Sept. 28, 2008 PD. We're kind a suprise and thankful coz we never expected it to be that soon (Thanks God!!!). Now it seems that NVC is doing their very best to speed up processing... May our Good Lord continue to guide and strengthen us....

that's right alit2! the visa just getting better!! just hang in there and visit the processing timeframe for the petitions and visa bulletin as well that's what we're all doing here in vj hehehe so funny how it seems but we did those things just to be updated on what's happening with NVC hehehe:) God bless us all!

hello YNA we have the same date of the interview (22 APRIL) I did a lot of worries is that you can give me the documents and paper to present to the interview and if you have an idea of how it happens

i have prepared:

nbi, nso papers, proof of relationship like phone bill records, email, chat logs, remittances, pictures, and some other personal proofs between me and hubby... stressful but we'll all get along with this and it will be all okay.. God is there to help us out and He will guide us to make this journey to be with our family.... if you have questions just pm me or something or msg here in vj everybody will help here...

Yna, cant imagine the excitement you have right now. Interview i guess will just be a

formality so your partner will do just fine. STill working on the DS-230..hopefully ill send this next week.

my priority date is Feb 2007. don't know what's next after sending our DS-230. i hope our case will be "CASE COMPLETE".

mine took less than 2 months, a month and 6 days to be exact

i know... i had to tell my manager that i need a 15 min break instead of just 10.. i had to take a walk in the parking lot and just had to breathe all the excitement.

lynn, i read it from a forum in a filipino newpaper that we subscribed...they are giving special accomodations for filers from HAITi.... isnt that your country of origin right??? or maybe im thinking of a different vjer.

everything happened in a surprise huh? its good to expect the worst and got the best instead of expecting the best and you'll have the worst outcome... i wasnt expecting my approval till this year too.. i WAS even thinking that i need to go home this christmas to spend it with the love of my life... but i guess i dont have to do that since i will really be spending it with him but its going to be HERE in the US.

hi everyone! another good news for me! i just received through email the choice of agent letter! i cant breath! im sooooooo happy! i dont know what to do next! its not yet sinking on me.. guess have to relax and read it again.lol!

Fill up the form, and send it back ASAP. And also you need to go to the

immigrant-visa website, sign-in and pay the AOS FEE.

I think thats pretty much it...but dont forget to put the case#, name at the back of the photos

just in case it got mixed up, and also prepare a cover letter for your DS-230.
