present!

How was everyone's weekend?

Mine was extremely too short. lol It did turn out to be a georgous day yesterday and we got some respite from the hellish heat that was hanging around all last week. I played in the front flower beds and Y mowed. That was the extent of my productivity this weekend...

oh ya, besides a small shopping trip

:secret: the car is now paid off () and no more daycare costs every week, now that Y is watching J everyday. hee But, Im trying to keep the shopping in check we'll see how that turns out lol

If you were lucky and got an approval and reunion with your loved one rather quickly; Please refrain from telling people who waited 6+ months just to get out of a service center to "chill out" or to "stop whining" It's insensitive, and unecessary. Once you walk a mile in their shoes you will understand and be heard.

Thanks!

Good Morning :)

Sorry I usually go for a morning swim and only get home back about 10:30 PST

Good morning everyone. Sorry I missed you all last night. I got a call from the sleep center. They had a cancellation and called me to come in. So I figured may as well get it over with. I didn't sleep that much, so today I'm tired as hell. Looking forward to your posts to keep me awake!

Hmm...Seren, keep in mind the cost of repairs, parts, and insurance for the BMW...not to mention the maintenance. My understanding is that you have to go only to the dealer for that stuff. It can be very expensive. My experience has been that people usually love their BMW's but after a few years are dishing out money left and right on repairs. I've never owned one, but my mom, brother, and uncle have. That is what I've seen. If you're gonna dish out that kinda money why not go for a Benz??? They seem to last longer and have less problems.

Well the tiling is all done...now we must repaint, because the tile doesn't match that color we painted a couple of weeks ago. So now we're "debating" which color. I think we may have come to a mutual agreement. Overall though, this whole project has made me HATE decorating and honestly, at this point, I would like nothing more than to sell the damn house and move out! Funny thing is the owner told my husband that if he wanted, he would give him a job

Speaking of job...Lisa, have you heard back about your hubby's ead? I hope they have finally gotten it to the right place! Will it be Vermont? or California? What a mess! Did you get the congressman involved?

Well I better go get my coffee (large today) and have my smoke so I can start my day

Catch you guys a little later!

Glad the tiling is done! Picking paint shouldnt be too bad ;)

Well, our EAD... I sent it back to VSC with a letter asking them to process it with its original priority date and also sent a whole packet to the Ombudsman.

We shall see.

Seren,

CnT has some very good points about maintenence on the beemer.

Que,

At last she has a card in hand. It sucks that you'll have to deal with lifting conditions though. That is one good point about the k3 if you wait to file AOS. I guess each visa has its good and bad points. BUT, at least you guys can breathe for 2 years :D yaaaaaay!!

jenn,

take it easy hun. take care of yourself. I'll send you a small cutting off my money tree... see if you can get it to root

Good Morning All!

ABC has show on monday night's called the Newly Wed Game.....It's quite an interesting show and worth the watch. The show is based on the premises of how well you know your spouse and How well you work togethet to solve any issues that arise.

We could all relate to the show...cos we are almost newly weds :)

CnT: Good luck with picking a paint color, let hubby give his input but make sure you make the final choice

Lisa: Howz Y doing? How is he filing in his days at home?

Steve: where are you buddy? How many more days before K gets here?

Queue: I am sure you will have lots of proof for lifting of conditions, probably a couple of lil queue :P

Wen: How are you doing and Howz work? Have you found a car yet?

GS: Has hubby settled in? Is he out looking for a job or taking it easy for a bit?

As for me I have to sit tight till my IR1 interview......I am trying to get my medical arranged for 7 days before the interview.

I have to fly to Toronto for my medicals and Montreal for my interview....seems like a never ending saga

So much for that MOSS.....

Ok waiting for the money tree clipping. I have one of those good luck bamboo thingies. They gave it to me when I left my job. Too funny huh? Anyway, It doesn't require any care just water it. I'm sure I'll manage to kill it one way or another.

I do NOT have a green thumb. I hate mowing the grass. I got my daughter's BF to mow the grass yesterday. I am allergic but mostly I just hate doing it.

I want to go to the beach on Saturday but none of my joker friends want to go.

What is everyone doing for the holiday weekend?

Sarita,

I say go with a HONDA. it will last you forever even if you neglect it a little.. Save the beemer for when you don't care how much it costs to upkeep the dang thing !!!

You have been a visa traveling woman havent you seren? geez, when I think about it...poor seren :( waited forever for VSC the to India, then to cali, now toronto and then montreal you need a big break after all of this! heh

Y is filling his days with Josh. Daddy daycare is open for business at our house :P

He is getting bored sitting in the house all day, but J keeps him on his toes Im sure lol the timing is actually working out very well. He will get his EAD right around the time josh starts school. He already has a job waiting for him although the hours would suck. Its an option at least

I really need to put some minutes on my cell so I can text/get texts from you guys. I havent even bothered for weeks since I was only really using the cell to text Y all the time.... no need for that now lol
